Week 10 NFL DFS Picks Delivering Value

Week 10 NFL DFS value picks include players with fairly high upside for their price — from Justin Herbert's surge with the Chargers to Aaron Jones' bounce-back opportunity, these are the best budget-friendly choices to elevate your lineup.
Week 10 DFS Value Picks

This week’s DFS lineup holds some of the best value picks we’ve seen in a while and they’re primed to deliver. From a resurgent Justin Herbert to a potential Aaron Jones bounce-back game, these are the most affordable players who could provide huge upside at their price points.

If you’re looking for DFS value picks to top off your lineup, these are the players you want to take a look at.

Player Opponent Projected Points Value
J. Herbert (QB) Tennessee Titans 16.4 3.15
Ladd McConkey (WR) Tennessee Titans 14.8 2.51
A. Jones (RB) Jacksonville Jaguars 19.5 2.91
Will Dissly (TE) Tennessee Titans 8.7 2.81

Justin Herbert — Los Angeles Chargers — QB

  • Salary: $5,200
  • Matchup: vs. Tennessee Titans (12th in DvP)
  • Projected Fantasy Points: 16.4
  • Value: 3.15

Justin Herbert looks ready to lead the Chargers’ offense to new heights. He seems to be coming around at just the right time.

After some inconsistency, Herbert has finally thrown multiple touchdown passes in back-to-back games for the first time this season. We’re surprised too, but maybe this means he’s finding his rhythm. Better late than never, right?

His recent outing against Cleveland showed his deep-ball effectiveness, as he logged a season-high 10.4 yards per passing attempt.

This breakthrough momentum is due in large part to his improved chemistry with his younger receivers which include Quentin Johnston and Ladd McConkey. Johnston posted an impressive 4-118-1 line in Week 9, while McConkey put up 6-111-2 in Week 8, giving Herbert some dependable options downfield. We’ll get more into McConkey in just a second.

In Week 10, Herbert faces a Titans defense that ranks 12th in fantasy points allowed to quarterbacks. This unit has been stingy in yardage, surrendering the fewest passing yards per game this season. That’s not what you expect to hear about Tennessee, however, the big takeaway is that they have shown vulnerabilities in the red zone. This will undoubtedly set up Herbert to throw a couple of TDs if the Chargers can move the ball. At $5.2k, Herbert is an affordable option for a quarterback with his ceiling, making him a tempting value play despite the challenging matchup.

Ladd McConkey — Los Angeles Chargers — WR

  • Salary: $5,900
  • Matchup: vs. Tennessee Titans (2nd in DvP)
  • Projected Fantasy Points: 14.8
  • Value: 2.51

We love stacking if the stats present themselves and this is a great opportunity to do so.

Ladd McConkey has been a consistent target in Herbert’s passing game, seeing between 6 and 8 targets in each of his last 6 games.

With a 28-375-3 stat line on 41 targets over that stretch, McConkey has become not just a reliable option for Herbert, but a favored option. Even with Quentin Johnston occasionally stealing the spotlight, McConkey is just crushing it.

McConkey’s route-running and his knack for getting into the open have kept his volume steady which is why he’s a valuable asset in Herbert’s arsenal.

He faces a Titans defense that ranks 2nd toughest against wide receivers in DFS points allowed, but that doesn’t mean there’s no opportunity for FP. They’ve been vulnerable to receivers who excel in space, and as we mentioned, the red zone.

At $5.9k, McConkey’s volume and his intellect for finding gaps in the secondary could make him a sneaky value pick that we absolutely love. This is especially true if Herbert continues his recent surge.

We expect McConkey to see plenty of looks, making him a decent choice as a WR2 or flex option in DFS.

Aaron Jones — Minnesota Vikings — RB

  • Salary: $6,700
  • Matchup: vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (30th in DvP)
  • Projected Fantasy Points: 19.5
  • Value: 2.91

Aaron Jones hasn’t been as efficient as most would expect as of late, but there’s a good reason to expect a bounce-back game in Week 10.

The Vikings’ veteran back had a rough outing against Indy in Week 9 where he totaled just 82 yards on 25 touches (21 carries and four receptions). That’s not the Jones we’re used to.

He struggled to get much going on the ground, with only 64 rushing yards and a season-low 3.0 yards per carry.

However, he still boasts a solid 4.5 yards per carry on the season which means not all hope is lost. He’s still a solid back and should see a steady workload again in Week 10.

We’re seeing this week’s matchup against the Jaguars as just what Jones needs.

Jacksonville ranks 30th in DFS points allowed to RBs, making them one of the league’s weakest defenses against the run. They’re also allowing the 16th most rushing yards per game (125.0 yards).

Given that Jones has been active in both the running and passing game, we think he should get plenty of opportunities to grind out yardage and hit pay dirt.

At $6.7k, Jones is worth taking a look at as a mid-range option with RB1 upside.

Will Dissly — Los Angeles Chargers — TE

  • Salary: $3,100
  • Matchup: vs. Tennessee Titans (7th in DvP)
  • Projected Fantasy Points: 8.7
  • Value: 2.81

Yes, this is 3 players on our list who all play for the Chargers. This isn’t a bias, it’s just that the stats don’t lie.

Sure, Will Dissly has had a modest season, recently losing some target share to a healthy Hayden Hurst, but, Dissly’s value comes as much from his role in short-yardage and red-zone plays as from his receptions.

While his stat lines haven’t been all that great, Dissly has proven he can deliver when needed. This is due to his blocking and occasional receiving involvement. He’s coming off a quieter game with only 3 targets, but the addition of DJ Chark to the Chargers’ offense may open up more red-zone chances for the TE.

Dissly faces a Titans defense that’s allowing the third-fewest receiving yards to tight ends but has struggled in covering tight ends inside the 20. To be honest, they’ve struggled against all positions in the red zone, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that Dissly should see some targets there.

With Tennessee ranked 7th in DFS points allowed to tight ends, Dissly could be a sneaky red-zone target for Herbert. What we love the most is he is at $3.1k. Dissly’s low salary makes him a good bet to return solid value in a tight-end spot that’s often unpredictable.

Get Your DFS Picks in for Week 10

This week’s DFS value picks are led by Herbert’s upward trajectory, with McConkey and Jones giving DFS managers solid volume-based upside. Dissly offers budget flexibility at TE in a position that often lacks reliable options. With that, it’s looking like you’ll want to look at the Chargers vs Titans game if you want to squeeze out some additional value this week.

Whether you’re looking for a stable QB, a WR with volume, or an RB in a favorable matchup, these picks could help balance your lineup without breaking the bank.
