Evaluating Dabble DFS

We focus on several key areas when we review any DFS platform and for Dabble, this is no different. We want to see how it stacks up and if it’s worth your time. Here are the areas we look at—

  • Bonuses Offers. What kind of bonuses does Dabble offer? Are they attractive enough to bring in new users? We take a close look at the terms and conditions because a great bonus can be a game-changer.
  • Gameplay. We check out and assess the range of gameplay options Dabble provides. Are there any unique modes that set it apart from other DFS platforms?
  • Usability. A user-friendly interface is crucial. We ensure that Dabble’s app is intuitive and easy to navigate, contributing to a smooth overall experience.
  • Customer Reviews. While we always conduct our analysis, we also take into consideration the experiences and opinions of other users. We check app reviews and ratings to ensure we cover all bases and to see if we’re missing something. It allows our reviews to be more objective.
  • Customer Support. The last thing we look at is the customer service. Often overlooked, customer support is essential for online platforms. We test Dabble’s support team to verify their efficiency and responsiveness.

With that, let’s jump in and see what Dabble is all about!

An Automatic Bonus Offer

When we first jumped on Dabble, the first thing that grabbed our attention was its killer bonus offer.

New users receive a $10 no-deposit bonus just for signing up. No deposits, no minimum amount of picks, just $10 free to use in whichever picks you want. This lets you get into the action without putting any of your money on the line.

This is a welcome gesture, especially for those who are new to DFS and want to test the waters without being overly committed.

While $10 might seem small compared to the big promotional offers from larger platforms, it aligns well with Dabble’s casual and low-stakes approach. All you have to do is sign up, and it’s yours. Plus, it’s always refreshing not to have to jump through hoops or deposit a large chunk of change just to activate a bonus.

Engaging Gameplay and Social Interaction

When it comes to gameplay, Dabble simplifies things with a pick’em style contest.

Rather than dealing with the complexities of salary cap drafts or in-depth player statistics like some of the other platforms, you simply choose between 2 and 8-player stats for major leagues like the NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB.

Your goal?

Predict whether each player will go over or under a set threshold.

It’s extremely easy, which makes it perfect for both newbies and seasoned DFS players looking for a quicker, more relaxed experience. We wish all platforms had this ideology. Some are fairly complex.

As we got underway, we found that the platform offers two types of entries.

  • All-In. for those who prefer higher risks with bigger rewards. All picks have to hit for you to walk away a winner.
  • Hedge. which allows more flexibility by letting you win even if some of your picks are off.

This dual approach caters to different risk appetites. Some players might be more cautious and want to hedge the bet, while others want the big win and go all-in.

Dabble’s gameplay experience stands out not just for its simplicity but also for its social aspects.

In the DFS industry, it’s rare to find a platform that emphasizes community interaction as much as Dabble does. Sure, others might have leaderboards, but the interaction essentially stops at that.

The Dabble app integrates a live chat feature where players can discuss picks, share strategies, and just engage in some good old-fashioned banter. Banter and DFS goes hand-in-hand in the real world, so why not at an online platform?

It’s not just about making picks and hoping for the best. Dabble wants it to be about doing so in a community of like-minded sports fanatics.

You can even follow other users and copy their picks with a single click, which adds a even another level of social interaction and friendly competition. You can get some bragging points when others copy your picks.

Going even a step further, depending on what state you’re playing in, you can even pick against other players in their P2P feature. You can go head-to-head against other players to see who makes the better picks. Unfortunately, the P2P gameplay is only available in Arkansas, Kansas, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

We loved the social features, but we found that they extend beyond just chats. Thebantersection is filled with memes, gifs, and fun content that keeps the mood light and enjoyable.

It’s clear that Dabble wants to make DFS less about the grind and more about the shared experience.

With all of that, it’s clear to see that Dabble isn’t your mama’s DFS game. No, they’re the next generation of DFS and trying something new that no other platform has tried.

A Clean and Functional UX/UI

Dabble Screenshots for Review

As for user experience, Dabble sticks to a mobile-first design. Of course, this makes sense, given the on-the-go nature of fantasy sports. The big downside is that there’s no web interface. We’ll get to that in just a moment.

The app is available for both iOS and Android and while there’s no desktop version, the mobile app covers all the bases. The interface is clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate. That’s more than we can say for a lot of DFS apps. We love that it’s easy to use as you need an app like that when you’re making quick decisions about player stats.

Dabble has clearly put thought into ensuring that the user interface doesn’t overwhelm, focusing instead on making everything as simple as possible.

Despite having a glowing Android/iOS app, some users might find the lack of a desktop option limiting. For those who are used to larger screens or prefer to manage their picks from a computer, this could be a downside. We haven’t heard of anything in terms of Dabble releasing a web application, but we’ll keep you updated if we hear anything.

Still, for a platform designed around simplicity, the mobile-only approach fits the bill. The app’s design is optimized for small screens, meaning you don’t miss out on any functionality despite the limited real estate.

Mixed Reviews from the Community

  • Apple App Store Rating: 4.7 Stars | 13000+ Ratings (download now)

Dabble has garnered a good mix of praise and criticism from the masses.

As we read through the Android and iOS reviews, many users appreciate the simplicity and social elements. Several have noted that the platform is a breath of fresh air compared to more complex DFS options.

The ability to quickly get in on the action without needing a deep understanding of player stats or salary caps is a big plus for most casual players. The social features, especially live chat and pick sharing, are frequently mentioned as some of the best features on the platform. They claim that it makes Dabble more engaging than traditional platforms.

On the flip side, some experienced DFS players feel that Dabble lacks the depth and variety they’re used to. While many can appreciate the platform staying away from being a jack of all trades, there’s definitely some concern with it being a one-trick pony.

The absence of different contest types and the focus on pick’em style gameplay might leave gamers that are looking for more strategic depth feeling a bit underwhelmed. Additionally, while the mobile-only format works for most, others have expressed a desire for a desktop version.

These reviews and ratings highlight that Dabble might not be for everyone, but then again maybe that’s what Dabble is going for — A simple and to the point DFS platform.

Customer Service and Reliability

Contact MethodHow to Use it
EmailTo contact the Dabble support team, you can use their contact form.
FAQsDabble has tons of questions and answers in their comprehensive FAQ section.

Customer service is an area where Dabble generally performs well, though not for what you think.

For starters, there’s really only 2 ways to get a hold of Dabble. First, you can email them through their customer support form. The actual email address isn’t provided, but the form is easy enough. The other way is through their AI chatbot. While we were skeptical of the chatbot at first, we realized that it’s thoroughly trained on just about everything you would need from a customer service rep.

We would love to see Dabble introduce a live chat or even a phone option, but their current system is inline with most other DFS platforms. Of course, not having those additional representatives is a quick way to save money which is probably why their vig is so low.

One of the things we loved the most about their support is their massive Frequently Asked Questions section. You can find hundreds of articles that cover everything from managing your account to the rules for the contests and other general information.

All in all, we don’t have a reason to complain about Dabble’s customer service. If you need something, there are a few ways to get help.

Final Verdict — Dabble Is Up and Coming

Dabble isn’t trying to be the next DraftKings or FanDuel, and we think that’s a good thing.

Instead, it’s carving out its own space by offering a simplified, socially engaging DFS experience. There’s nothing else like it in the industry.

The no-deposit bonus is also a great way to get started. No-deposit bonus offers are something we don’t see too often so it’s refreshing to see a brand come out and offer money up front to their customers.

The straightforward pick’em format makes it easy for anyone to jump in and start playing. If you’re looking for something more, you might want to try out another DFS platform, but for many, the pick ‘em style works well. On top of that, the strong social features add a unique twist, making the platform feel more like a community than just another DFS app.

That said, Dabble isn’t perfect. Its simplicity might not appeal to hardcore DFS players looking for more variety and depth. The mobile-only format, while convenient, could be a drawback for users who prefer a desktop experience. So, for all of its pros and cons, we’re going to give Dabble a 4.6 out of 5.0, which is still a solid rating. We’d like to see them expand to a larger audience and maybe add in some other contests to give the users some variety.
