ParlayPlay simplifies DFS with its More/Less pick'em format, letting players skip the salary-cap math and focus on straightforward higher-or-lower calls. A two-part welcome offer makes it easy to jump right in.
In our ParlayPlay review, we pour through this exciting platform that offers a unique and engaging game format for both sports fans and DFS players. After thoroughly exploring its features, user interface, and customer reviews, we can confidently say that ParlayPlay has a lot to offer.
Whenever we review a DFS site, we look at a few key areas that tell us if the DFS platform is worth playing on. These areas include—
With that, let’s jump in and see what ParlayPlay is all about.
Right out of the gate, ParlayPlay impressed us with their generous bonus offer. Here are the details of their current welcome package, which comes in two parts.
First, new users get a $5 no-deposit free entry just for verifying their account, no deposit needed. On top of that, ParlayPlay will also match your first real-money deposit dollar-for-dollar in promo funds, up to $100 total.
Not too bad. We’ve seen hundreds of promotions and bonus codes, and this two-part offer is one of the best combinations we’ve seen from any DFS platform. Of course, you’ll see much better promos at sportsbooks, but they have a lot more funding to throw around.
As if the welcome offer wasn’t good enough, they also encourage users to refer their friends to the platform. For every friend who signs up, verifies their account, and enters a paid contest, you’ll get $20 deposited to your ParlayPlay account (this is up from the $5 we saw the last time we checked in on this review).
Bonuses don’t get much easier than that. If you have lots of friends, you could play on ParlayPlay completely free as long as the referrals keep coming in.
After we created our ParlayPlay account and started navigating around, we realized that ParlayPlay is super simple.
They’re built around a single core game type — parlay-style over/under picks, sometimes called “More/Less.”
At first, that might sound like a negative attribute to only have a single game type, but it’s actually a relief. No more scrolling through endless game options, trying to decide what to play. ParlayPlay keeps things simple and focused on one core format, making it easier for players to jump in and start playing.
Right from the home screen of the app or the website, you can choose which sport you want—
Once you pick which sport you want to pick, you’re presented with players and their over/under options.
For example, a receiver might be showing a receiving-yards number and a receptions number. You select which stat you want and then choose whether he’ll be over or under that number.
But it’s a parlay — hence the name ParlayPlay.
So you have to pick at least two players and stat combos to enter a contest, with room to add more picks for a bigger multiplier (up to 9 picks on a single slip, depending on the contest).
One thing worth knowing: ParlayPlay now runs two slightly different products depending on your state — a standard “Picks” format (you vs. the house) and a peer-to-peer format called “Rumble” — and not every state has access to both. It’s worth checking which format is live in your state before you sign up, since the experience differs a bit between the two.
Here’s the breakdown of the total number of picks and the potential payout on a typical All-In entry.
| Total Picks | Multiplier | Payout on $5 |
|---|---|---|
| 2 Picks | 3x | $15 |
| 3 Picks | 5x | $25 |
| 4 Picks | 10x | $50 |
| 5 Picks | 20x | $100 |
| 6 Picks | 35x | $175 |
| 7 Picks | 75x | $375 |
Note: ParlayPlay adjusts these multipliers from time to time, and we’ve seen some sources cite different current multiplier tiers (including bigger slips going even higher than what’s shown above). Treat this table as illustrative of how the format works rather than a locked-in current payout chart, and double-check the exact numbers in-app before entering.
Of course, they realize that parlays are inherently difficult to win. So, to help out the players, ParlayPlay has provided an insured option. The chart above shows if you’re all in, meaning you have to win all picks to get the payout.
However, with insurance, you don’t have to win all of the picks to walk away with some cash. But, with the reduced risk comes reduced payouts.
Whether you want to go “all in” like a traditional parlay or leverage the insurance option is up to your risk tolerance.
Like all DFS platforms, ParlayPlay also offers a few free-to-play tournaments. These are tournaments with thousands of contestants that play for absolutely free but can win real cash prizes.
These games are limited to 10,000 entrants but offer prizes for the top 50 players. The best part is that it costs you nothing.
| Place | Prize/Payout |
|---|---|
| 1st | $36 |
| 2nd | $18 |
| 3rd-10th | $4.50 |
| 11th-20th | $3 |
| 21st-50th | $1 |
You simply make 8 picks, and then, based on the results, you rise up through the leaderboard. Keep in mind that free-to-play contests aren’t offered in every state, so check availability in the app.
One of the things we appreciated about ParlayPlay was its user interface. It’s simple yet effective. The app and website are both clean, easy to navigate, and load quickly.
The homepage is where you’ll find your contests. Just select which sport you want and then what picks you want.
It’s that easy.
Then, in the menu, you’ll find the Free2Play games, rewards, and your picking history.
Your account options are also located in the menu, making it easy to access your profile and make any necessary changes, check your referrals, and withdraw any funds.
Overall, we were very pleased with the user interface of ParlayPlay. It made playing on their platform an enjoyable experience without any technical difficulties or frustrations.
Just because we love the game format and the app doesn’t mean everyone else will. So, let’s check out the real customer reviews of ParlayPlay.
To get an idea of what others think about ParlayPlay, we jumped over to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store to check out the reviews and ratings.
Overall, the majority of users seem to enjoy using ParlayPlay. The app has a high rating on both platforms, and many users specifically mention the simplicity and ease of use as major positives. Review volume has grown quite a bit since our last update, which is a good sign for a DFS app still working to build its user base.
Some users do mention issues with depositing or withdrawing funds, but these seem to be isolated incidents and not indicative of a larger problem. Most of the reviews were generally positive. After all, you don’t get the ratings ParlayPlay has with a bad product.
There are always going to be a few issues with any platform, but overall, it seems that customers have had positive experiences with ParlayPlay.
Got a problem with the app (as some reviews might have indicated)? Then, you’ll want to check out their customer support.

They offer a comprehensive FAQ section on their website that covers most common user issues. In fact, we were blown away by how comprehensive their FAQ section is. From gameplay to withdraws and deposits and responsible gaming — ParlayPlay has covered it all.
However, there might be an instance in which you need something a bit deeper.
For more specific inquiries, you can submit a ticket through the app or website and get assistance from their support team.
They also have an email option, which took them less than 24 hours to respond to our request.
The downside is that we didn’t find a phone number or chat option for immediate help. So, as long as things are going smoothly for you, we don’t see any issues.
Overall, we were pleased with the customer support options provided by ParlayPlay. Sure, it would be nice to have a chat or phone option, but the FAQ section and email support seem to cover most issues that users may encounter.
After reviewing dozens of sportsbooks and DFS sites, we think we’ve seen it all and know a thing or two about what makes a great platform. In the end, we were thoroughly impressed with ParlayPlay and think it has a lot to offer for sports fans and DFS players alike.
The simple yet engaging game format, smooth user interface, and positive customer reviews all point towards a quality product. The added bonus of free-to-play contests just adds icing on the cake.
Whether you’re an experienced DFS player or just a casual sports fan looking to add some excitement to your game day, ParlayPlay is definitely worth checking out.
We get it, though; the single-style format might not be for everyone, and once in a while, it’s nice to get a customer service rep on the phone, so for that, we’re going to give ParlayPlay 4.7 stars out of 5.0.
That’s still a solid rating and a great recommendation from us.
