Wednesday’s NBA schedule is jam-packed with action and several games should be highly entertaining. The Thunder will head to Boston to take on the Celtics in what could be a preview of a potential NBA Finals matchup. You can bet that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jayson Tatum will bring their A games under the big lights.
Our betting card for today focuses on rebounding props. We have 3 plays on tap for March 12th. Enjoy the games, hoops fans!
LAC at MIA: 8:00 PM Eastern
BetMGM is being extra generous this morning with Herro’s rebounding number. Sure, the -110 juice doesn’t look so sexy, but look at where every other sportsbook has this line. FanDuel has this Under juiced to -138 and DraftKings isn’t too far behind them at -130. This seemingly minute differences add up over the long haul in sports betting.
Herro rebounds the basketball remarkably well for a shooting guard. The former Kentucky Wildcat is averaging 5.4 rebounds per game this season. The 6’5″, 195 pounder has only seen an increase in his minutes since the Heat dealt Jimmy Butler to Golden State.
PHI at TOR: 7:30 PM EST
BetMGM is once again coming through for us on this play, as they’re the only sportsbook in America that has the Over listed at plus money. I love that DraftKings is pricing this at -125 and Caesars is all the way up to -133. It’s always a little bit scary betting on a guard’s rebounding total but don’t let that dissuade you.
Grimes is only averaging 4.1 rebounds per contest, but he’s done much better than that of late. The former Houston Cougar grabbed 7 boards against the Hawks on Monday and 8 against the Celtics last week. Give me this at plus money all day, every day.
MIN at DEN: 10:00 PM EST
How about some late-night action to close out the card? This should be a fantastic game between two very good basketball teams. Denver rebounds the ball incredibly well but that’s mainly because Nikola Jokic seems to grab around 20 each night.
The line value on this play is pretty insane when you check other competing sportsbooks. Almost every shop has this at 5.5 instead of 4.5. ESPN Bet has it at 4.5 but the juice is all the way up to -170. McDaniels is averaging 5.9 rebounds per game, so this looks like a steal.
