Friday NBA Predictions Guide: 3 Player Props for October 31

It’s NBA Friday, which means Tyrese Maxey and the undefeated 76ers are back in action against the Boston Celtics. Look for the sensational start of his season to continue to roll on with another 30-point outing.

Elsewhere, Matas Buzelis looks like an early-season MIP candidate. He can continue to make that case with a big game against the Knicks as Chicago looks to stay undefeated.

Tyrese Maxey (PHI) OVER 28.5 Points

No one can figure out how to stop Tyrese Maxey. The star has taken a leap into superstar status to start this season, heading into that upper echelon of guard play that is led by Brunson, Booker, and Mitchell among others. Maxey is averaging 37.5 points a night on 45/47/87 splits. Though Boston has been fairly solid against opposing point guards this year, Tyrese’s 40 bomb on this defense in the season opener should give Philly confidence to once again put the ball in his hands and clear out. With Edgecombe also becoming a point of emphasis for defenses, Maxey’s wide-open floor will continue to elevate his game and with Nick Nurse fully handing him the keys, let’s keep riding the hot hand.

Matas Buzelis (CHI) OVER 1.5 Threes

Don’t look now but the Billy Donovan led Chicago Bulls might have turned a corner. They are 4-0 to start the year and can make it 5-0 tonight at home against New York. The Knicks have struggled defensively at times this year especially with fast-paced squads. With Giddey running the show, Matas has been able to find shots and opportunities that once again, will hurt the opponent tonight. Buzelis went 4 of 6 from downtown with 27 points in Wednesday’s big win over Sacramento so expect the momentum to continue. After going 0/5 to start the year from deep, he’s 6/13 over his last two. After the ASB last season he averaged nearly 5 attempts from downtown per game. I like the ‘over’ again here.

Keyonte George (UTA) OVER 31.5 PRA

The Utah Jazz are one of the better stories as the NBA season rolls along. They are 2-2 and could very well be 4-0 on the year with both of their losses in one possession games. The Jazz and Keyonte George dominated Phoenix on offense in their recent matchup with Markkanen going for 50 in an OT win. Tonight, I’m looking for Keyonte George to continue to rack up stats at the point guard spot. With 39 and 41 PRA over his last two, this feels like a must bet prop especially against a Phoenix team with no direction defensively.
