NBA Early Look Futures: 3 Season-Long Player Props for 2025-26

With the NBA season just one month away, let’s take a look at some of the best season-long player props that include one MVP candidate ready to put his Western Conference team back on his back in order to make a postseason run. In the Eastern Conference, T.J. McConnell should have a career year with Haliburton out with injury.

Devin Booker: Most PPG +3000

This is one of those long-shot bets, but without Bradley Beal and Kevin Durant, the ball with be in Booker’s hands even more this season. He finished 9th in PPG last season and would need a bump up of about 4 PPG to lead this category.

While Giannis, SGA, and Luka lead the way as favorites, Booker is still the most underrated 3-level scorer in the league and will put this team on his back this season, with everyone doubting them.

Beal’s 13 and Durant’s 18 FGA per contest will go to Jalen Green and Dillon Brooks, but a chunk of that will end up on Booker’s plate as he will most likely take the most FGA per game through his career.

Lauri Markkanen: To Average 22+ PPG

A star in EuroBasket this offseason, Lauri Markkanen will take a step up this season for the young Utah Jazz. His averages dropped last season while playing -1.3 MPG, averaging 19 PPG compared to 25.6 and 23.2 PPG in previous seasons.

While Will Hardy wants to get his youth core more involved, which involves Ace Bailey and Taylor Hendricks, Markkanen is good enough to go up against some of the best 4s and 5s in the league and could be utilized as trade bait mid-season should Utah want to take a step back and continue to compile draft picks.

T.J. McConnell: To Average 6+ APG

This is a quirky bet. We know Haliburton will be out for the regular season, and we know Indiana has not gone after another point guard to pair alongside McConnell and Nembhard.

With that being said, T.J. averaged 5.5 APG in 2023-24 off the bench and then 4.4 APG in 2024-25 off the bench in similar MPG. Now, due to play upwards of 20-25 MPG, McConnell should be a key distributor for this team that will still be able to score the ball in bunches.

In 40 playoff games over the last two seasons, he’s averaged 10.5 PPG and 4.5 APG on just 20 minutes of play per game. The elite veteran alpha dog guard will make a big impact this regular season for Carlisle and Indiana.
