NBA Picks Today: 3 Player Props for Wednesday, March 12

Wednesday’s NBA schedule is jam-packed with action and several games should be highly entertaining. The Thunder will head to Boston to take on the Celtics in what could be a preview of a potential NBA Finals matchup. You can bet that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jayson Tatum will bring their A games under the big lights.
Our betting card for today focuses on rebounding props. We have 3 plays on tap for March 12th. Enjoy the games, hoops fans!

Tyler Herro (Heat) Over 4.5 Rebounds (-110 at BetMGM)
LAC at MIA: 8:00 PM Eastern
BetMGM is being extra generous this morning with Herro’s rebounding number. Sure, the -110 juice doesn’t look so sexy, but look at where every other sportsbook has this line. FanDuel has this Under juiced to -138 and DraftKings isn’t too far behind them at -130. This seemingly minute differences add up over the long haul in sports betting.
Herro rebounds the basketball remarkably well for a shooting guard. The former Kentucky Wildcat is averaging 5.4 rebounds per game this season. The 6’5″, 195 pounder has only seen an increase in his minutes since the Heat dealt Jimmy Butler to Golden State.
More Trends for Herro’s Over
- Herro is 37-24 to the Over vs. this line in ’24-25.
- Herro grabbed 11 rebounds vs the Clippers back on January 13th.
- Herro has gone Over this line in 5 of his last 6 outings.
Quentin Grimes (76ers) Over 4.5 Rebounds (+100 at BetMGM)
PHI at TOR: 7:30 PM EST
BetMGM is once again coming through for us on this play, as they’re the only sportsbook in America that has the Over listed at plus money. I love that DraftKings is pricing this at -125 and Caesars is all the way up to -133. It’s always a little bit scary betting on a guard’s rebounding total but don’t let that dissuade you.
Grimes is only averaging 4.1 rebounds per contest, but he’s done much better than that of late. The former Houston Cougar grabbed 7 boards against the Hawks on Monday and 8 against the Celtics last week. Give me this at plus money all day, every day.
More Trends for Grimes’s Over
- Grimes is 9-5 to the Over vs. this line as a 76er.
- Grimes has averaged 4.9 rebounds per game over his last 10 outings.
- Grimes grabbed 7 rebounds against Toronto on February 11th.
Jaden McDaniels (T’Wolves) Over 4.5 Rebounds (-125 at HardRock)
MIN at DEN: 10:00 PM EST
How about some late-night action to close out the card? This should be a fantastic game between two very good basketball teams. Denver rebounds the ball incredibly well but that’s mainly because Nikola Jokic seems to grab around 20 each night.
The line value on this play is pretty insane when you check other competing sportsbooks. Almost every shop has this at 5.5 instead of 4.5. ESPN Bet has it at 4.5 but the juice is all the way up to -170. McDaniels is averaging 5.9 rebounds per game, so this looks like a steal.
More Trends for McDaniels’s Over
- McDaniels is 43-23 to the Over vs. this line this season.
- McDaniels has averaged 7.7 rebounds per game over his last 10 outings.
- McDaniels grabbed 5 rebounds or more in 10 of his last 12 Toronto.
