Cowboys at Giants – 3 Player Prop Bets for Monday Night Football
After an exciting slate of NFL games on Sunday, Week 3 concludes with an NFC East rivalry as the Cowboys take on the Giants. Our NFL player prop bets have gotten off to a fast start, as they are now 14-4 on the season.
We’ll look to keep the money train chugging right along with 3 player prop bets for Monday Night Football. Best of luck with all of your Cowboys at Giants action.
Daniel Jones UNDER 203.5 Passing Yards (-115 BetMGM)
The Danny Dimes Under has been good to us so far this season and we’ll keep riding the horse. The former Duke standout has only averaged 155 passing yards per game in five career starts against Dallas. He’s also gone under this yardage total in five straight games dating back to November of last year.
The Cowboys’ secondary has done a masterful job so far against two good offenses. Dallas has allowed 180 passing yards per game while playing against the Bucs and the Bengals. As a unit, the Cowboys are only giving up 5.7 yards per pass, which ranks 8th in the league.
We’ll look for Trevon Diggs and company to do a solid job of locking down New York’s receivers. This should mean that Jones tops out at around 190 passing yards. Jump on the Under!
Ezekiel Elliott OVER 58.5 Rushing Yards (-115 Caesars)
Zeke looks to be healthier than he’s been in a long time, even though he’s yet to go over this total this season. That being said, the former Ohio State Buckeye averaged 5.2 yards per carry against the very stout Tampa Bay rush defense. We expect Elliott to get more carries than normal tonight and to sail over this yardage total.
We haven’t been too impressed with the Giants’ rush defense so far. They rank 28th in EPA per rush while allowing 4.9 yards per rush (23rd). New York also allows an average of 119.5 rushing yards per game.
All of those stats tell us that Elliott should be able to find lots of running room tonight. We know he’s been on a bit of a downward slide, but Zeke has averaged 82.7 rushing yards against New York in 10 career games. We’ll hold our breath and hope Elliott sails over this total.
Saquon Barkley OVER 3.5 Receptions (+130 BetMGM)
This plus-money price is just too tempting! Barkley is a skilled pass catcher out of the backfield and he’s already caught nine passes in just two games this season. The former Penn State star has caught four or more passes in 28 of his 46 career games in the NFL.
Another thing to think about with this play is the potential game script. Dallas loves to bring lots of different blitz packages, so Micah Parsons may be in the backfield quite a bit tonight. Brian Daboll will try to counter this by calling lots of screen passes to Barkley.
Jones is a dink-and-dunk type of QB, which also persuades us to take the Over in this spot. Because of the +130 price, this is our favorite player prop bet of the night. Let’s cheer for Barkley to haul in at least four receptions!
