Happy Wednesday! It’s been a relatively quiet week of NBA action thus far, but that changes tonight. There are 11 games on the docket this evening, providing plenty of action and entertainment for fans hoping to spend their night in front of a TV to watch basketball.
After carefully reviewing this awesome slate, we’ve put together three of our favorite player props, all of which can be found on Underdog. Without further ado, let’s dive right in!
We were surprised to see Payton Pritchard’s points line so low, considering that he’s averaging 14.1 points per game on the season. He’s a vital part of the Boston Celtics’ rotation; a player that has gained more and more traction as the season has gone on.
We expect Pritchard to have a big game tonight, especially considering that the Celtics are taking on the Chicago Bulls, who they match up well against.
Pritchard could see more minutes than normal in this game considering the Celtics are 14.5-point favorites, giving him plenty of time to score a lot. Look for Pritchard to have closer to 20 points than 10, hopefully hitting the over on his points line by the end of the third quarter.
Ben Simmons’ NBA career has been something of a roller coaster, but he’s seemingly found a home with the Brooklyn Nets. Simmons isn’t the scoring threat that many thought he’d be coming into the league, but he has become a consistent player when it comes to his rebounding and assist numbers.
Simmons’ teammates have greatly benefitted from this role, and we project him to keep the party going tonight against the Charlotte Hornets. He is close to the team leader in assists per game this season, and should have a relatively easy time achieving his projection this evening!
Victor Wembanyama’s rookie year was something to behold, and yet, he’s playing even better this year. The French product continues to hone his game and figure out how to dominate in the NBA, which he’s done with grace. Wemby is a top 20 scorer and a top 10 rebounder in the league, a clear sign of how well he’s performing compared to his counterparts in the NBA.
It’s tough to root against him, especially from a betting perspective, which is why we’re taking the over on his rebounding and assist total tonight. The San Antonio Spurs are taking on the Los Angeles Clippers, and since we project this to be a close game, look for Wemby to be involved for the whole contest, giving him plenty of time to log these two stats.
