Cavaliers vs. Pacers Betting Guide: 2 Player Props and Best Bet for Game 3

The title for best Eastern Conference team might switch hands tonight if the Indiana Pacers can keep their perfect home playoff record alive and start their weekend up 3-0 against the Cavaliers.

While the ultra-clutch Haliburton should stay hot on the glass and in the paint for Indiana, Ty Jerome needs to show up for Cleveland to have a fighting chance at keeping up with this potent Pacers offense that will not slow down.

Ty Jerome (CLE) OVER 1.5 Threes

One of the best bench players in basketball this season put up a dud in Game 2 when the Cavs needed him to step up in the absence of Garland, Mobley, and Hunter. Jerome dropped just 2 points on 1 of 14 from the field and 0 of 4 from beyond the arc.

Nesmith, Mathurin, and Nembhard all did a fantastic job on the sharpshooter in Game 2, and now in a two-game hole, Ty Jerome will either make or break his season with the performances to come. With Hunter, Mobley, and Garland potentially suiting up tonight, Jerome heading back to his regular bench spark plug role will be beneficial.

Against Miami, he averaged 2.5 threes per game in just 23 MPG. Now playing additional minutes in an Indiana series that should go six or maybe even seven games, it’s make-or-break for Jerom,e and I think he has a big game away from home tonight as Cleveland tries to get back into this series.

Tyrese Haliburton (IND) OVER 23.5 Points & Rebounds

Haliburton’s Game 2 performance certainly solidified him as one of the key playoff performers over the last two years, and especially over the last two series, where he has made countless clutch buckets to give Indiana the victory within the last minute.

This season, Haliburton has shot 10-11 on field goals to either tie or take the lead in the final two minutes of the fourth quarter or overtime. Talk about clutch. Hali has averaged 18.4 PPG and 6.3 RPG this postseason, all while shooting around 30% from beyond the arc.

In a game that has an O/U of 229.5 on most books, take the Eastern Conference Point God to have another outstanding performance against the smaller Cleveland backcourt. Tyrese is 5/7 on this prop in the postseason.

Best Bet: Pacers Alt Spread +8.5

While Indiana is currently a 4.5-point underdog in Game 3 at home, we want to play it safe and double that spread in a game that should stay close regardless of momentum swings.

Indiana is 3-0 at home this postseason and went 6-2 at home during the 2024 playoffs with their two losses coming by a combined six points against the champion Celtics.

Two wins away from another trip to the ECF, I don’t see this juggernaut of an offense slowing down anytime soon. Take the Pacers to keep it close because of Haliburton’s all-around magnificence.
