Tuesday NBA Betting Preview: 3 Player Props and Predictions for February 4

We have three role players’ point totals to target on this Tuesday night slate of games. First, we head north to Toronto, where Immanuel Quickley and the red-hot Raptors could play spoiler to the Knicks’ solid stretch of play.

Elsewhere, the incredible Portland Trail Blazers (yes, you heard that right) just beat Phoenix in back-to-back games and behind Deni Avdija’s scoring, have a great chance to defeat Indiana tonight at home.

Finally, who will step up for the Doncic-less Mavs? How about Nico Harrison’s perfect example of culture and what Luka Doncic wasn’t – Naji Marshall.

G Immanuel Quickley (TOR) OVER 12.5 Points

In IQ’s two revenge games since his New York departure, he’s dropped 12 and 22 points for Toronto in two lopsided losses. Toronto quietly had one of the best 2nd-half of January among any team in the East, including winning five straight at a certain point.

After coming off a big win against the Los Angeles Clippers at home, I’m expecting this guard front in Scottie Barnes, Immanuel Quickley, and Gradey Dick to put up a fight against a Knicks team that is coming off a tough-fought victory against Houston.

Quickley has played just 15 and 17 minutes over his last two outings. Still, with his deep shooting on a hot stretch (48.2% over his last five), another great revenge performance is on the way for the former Knicks guard as Toronto could pick up another upset victory here.

F Naji Marshall (DAL) OVER 10.5 Points

One beneficiary of the Luka Doncic departure will be wing-stopper Naji Marshall. Marshall fits the ‘culture’ that Nico Harrison has been preaching since he dealt Luka Doncic to the Lakers (still in absolute shock).

With that being said, Jason Kidd has also trusted Marshall with plenty of minutes this season and after a horrific loss to Cleveland, will look for high-energy guys to make this game against Philadelphia close tonight.

Marshall averages 13.9 PPG against Eastern Conference teams compared to 9.7 PPG against the West. Ride these stats tonight against a 76ers team that is coming from two brutal losses to Denver and Boston.

F Deni Avdija (POR) OVER 16.5 Points

Portland, we have figured something out. The Portland Trail Blazers have the 2nd-best record over their last ten games among Western Conference teams, somehow defeating the Suns twice in a row to get their record to 21-29 after one of the worst starts to a season in franchise history.

Portland’s Deni Avdija has been a massive part of this trend change. The Israeli forward played 44 minutes last game against Phoenix and scored 24 points on 12 field goal attempts.

In January, he averaged over 18 PPG on nearly 50% FG shooting. This guy is red-hot, and Portland will look to play him for extended minutes as they try and build around their young core in Henderson, Sharpe, and now, Avdija.
