Monday NBA Betting Preview: 3 Player Props for February 24

The second half of the NBA season is back and in full swing. Tonight, the Denver Nuggets look to get back into the win column against Indiana, who have picked up two massive wins since the All-Star break.

Elsewhere, the Oklahoma City Thunder look to sweep the Minnesota Timberwolves in their 2nd matchup in two days. Look for two-way star Lu Dort to get a handful of open looks at the rim and from beyond the arc in that game.

F Bilal Coulibaly (WAS) OVER 8.5 Rebounds & Assists

The Washington Wizards are practically the favorites to finish as the worst franchise in the Eastern Conference this season, winning just 9 games up to this point in the year. With that being said, there are a few tiny bright spots within this Washington team, including second-year forward Bilal Coulibaly.

With extra ball handling and playmaking duties the past month or two, Coulibaly’s assist, and rebounding numbers are a great play tonight. The last time the Wizards played Brooklyn, Coulibaly notched his first career triple-double in a victory. Bilal has averaged 5.2 RPG and 5.0 APG in February.

F Julian Strawther (DEN) OVER 1.5 3PM

Denver is in a bounce back spot tonight against the Indiana Pacers. Indiana is playing in a back-to-back and have played two hard fought games at home already since the All-Star break. Denver has had a night to rest and think about the horrendous loss to the Lakers in which Jokic scored just 12 points.

Although the sharpshooting Julian Strawther played just 12 minutes last game, he has the green light from beyond the arc and can get hot in a hurry. Outside of last game’s loss, Strawther went 13 of 30 from beyond the arc over his L4.

G Lu Dort (OKC) OVER 8.5 Points

Lu Dort and the Thunder are playing the second stretch of a back-to-back tonight against Minnesota. After winning a tight game last night in Minneapolis, OKC will look to sweep the Wolves with their shooting and offensive pace tonight.

One player we are looking at is Lu Dort. The 2-way wing is a back-to-back king, averaging 12.9 PPG on 52/49/89 shooting splits in 9 Oklahoma City back-to-backs this season.

Although Lu has scored just 6 and 4 points respectively since the break, I’m expecting Shai and Jalen Williams to score less tonight with Minnesota’s defense naturally adjusting to take their strengths away. Look for a handful of open buckets for Dort off back-cuts and open 3-pointers.
