Hawks vs. Magic Betting Guide: 3 Player Props and Predictions for Tuesday, April 15

Happy Tuesday to all! We hope you’re fired up about the NBA playoffs that are starting tonight, as four teams are looking to punch their ticket to the big dance via the Play-In Games.

While both games should be entertaining, we’ve focused on the matchup between the Atlanta Hawks and the Orlando Magic, with the winner facing off against the Boston Celtics in Round 1 of the playoffs. We’re hoping for a game that’s down to the wire, especially since most sportsbooks have this as a close matchup with the Magic being slight favorites. 

We’ve assembled our best player props for April 15th, and we’re hoping to hit it big and sweep the board. Let’s get into it!

Trey Young UNDER 40.5 Points, Rebounds & Assists

It’s tough to take an under for Trey Young, but we can’t trust him against the Magic tonight. Orlando has had his number, historically, as he’s averaged just over 37 PRA against them in 23 career games.

Young might be a great distributor and scorer against most opponents, but the Magic give him trouble, which is why we’re taking the under on his PRA line.

This isn’t necessarily a “must-win” game for the Hawks, as they will have one more opportunity to make it into the playoffs if they lose, and they can afford for Young to have an off night, which we project from him in this one. 

Paolo Banchero OVER 30.5 Points

Paolo Banchero has quickly turned into one of the more exciting players to watch in the NBA. He’s a force to be reckoned with on both ends of the court, someone the Magic have come to rely on in big games.

While Trae Young has struggled when he meets up with the Magic, Banchero seems to have a field day against the Hawks, especially lately. He’s had 31+ points in four of his last five matchups with them, including a 36-point game on February 20th.

Look for Banchero to come alive again in this game and give the Magic everything he’s got to bring them into the playoffs. 

Dyson Daniels OVER 13.5 Points

Somebody has to score for the Hawks tonight, and we’re thinking Dyson Daniels is the player who will help bring them over the top. Daniels has been prolific in many aspects this year and has been an especially valuable contributor on defense.

He can certainly score a lot when given the opportunity, and we think he’ll have plenty of chances to score at least 14 in this game. The Magic might focus their attention on Young and a few others, leaving Daniels open with an opportunity to make a name for himself.
