Franz Wagner should roll against the Portland defense on Monday.
Happy Monday, everyone! The NBA season is getting down to it. With less than a month to go until the playoffs start, teams are trying to make one final push to solidify their standing.
Even though there are just six games on the slate tonight, we feel like we have a good finger on the pulse and are confident in our four favorite player props from Underdog. Let’s get into it!
In my mind, this is far too high of a points line for Jayson Tatum. Yes, he can have big games, but we’re expecting the Boston Celtics to blow out the Charlotte Hornets tonight.
The Celtics are on a roll, and the Hornets haven’t exactly played inspired ball for the whole season. Look for Tatum to take a seat early in the third quarter of this one, scoring less than 28 points in the process.
Franz Wagner LOVES playing against the Portland Trail Blazers. He has scored 23+ points in his last three games against them, which should bode well for his chances of a big game tonight.
The Orlando Magic look to be a playoff team this year, and with Wagner playing well lately, he should be a big part of their potential success. Plus, he’s coming off a few games with less scoring than normal, so we’re anticipating a big bounceback game tonight.
This is another line that seems too high to us. Cade Cunningham has only scored 25+ points in four of his last 10 games, indicating that he is inconsistent in scoring at a high clip.
Plus, with him scoring 30+ points in his last two games, we believe Cunningham is due for a lessened performance, another reason we’re taking his under tonight.
This might be our favorite play of the night. The New Orleans Pelicans are taking on the Phoenix Suns tonight, which could be a matchup that goes down to the wire.
With both teams jockeying for a prime position within the Western Conference, we believe this will be a hard-fought game. With that in mind, look for CJ McCollum to be involved early on in this one, being extra aggressive on the boards and being an excellent facilitator for this team, resulting in him hitting the over on his RA line.
