Last night was a fun one for NBA fans! Two of the three games on the slate went down to the wire, and the Milwaukee Bucks took care of business against the Indiana Pacers in relatively dominant fashion.
While we were excited to see how everything went down last night, we’ve quickly turned our attention to tonight’s two-game slate. The first game of the evening is between the Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics, and the second is a matchup between the Dallas Mavericks and Los Angeles Clippers.
After reviewing the board, we’ve highlighted our two favorite props from each game, all of which can be found on Underdog. Let’s get into our favorite picks for the night!
It’s put up or shut up time for Bam Adebayo and the Miami Heat. With Jimmy Butler out for the playoffs, Adebayo has been tasked with an increased scoring load this series, and he has answered the call and risen to the occasion, scoring at least 20 points in every game this series.
After his 25-point performance in Game 4, we like Adebayo’s odds of scoring at least 22 tonight, which is why we’re taking the over on his point total. If the Heat are going to stay in this game, Adebayo will need to start scoring early.
Derrick White had a monster scoring performance in Game 4, putting up 38 points in that game. While this was an indication that White can go off when needed, we expect him to have a slower night in that category.
However, he should dish out a lot of assists to Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown tonight, making this a great night to take the over on his assist total.
Man, Luka is a beast. He’s a threat to record a triple-double every night, as he seems to get it done in all aspects of the game. Doncic is a pure scorer, a ferocious rebounder, and a great distributor of the basketball, which we’re choosing to focus on tonight.
The Mavericks need to keep their foot on the gas to put themselves a step closer to the second round of the playoffs, and they’ll do anything possible to make that happen. Doncic should be dialed into his teammates in this game, especially if he is having an off night from the field.
We love the over on his assist total tonight, and we would have taken this line even if it was set at 10.5. Hopefully, we will cash this one easily!
James Harden is on a redemption tour in this first round of the playoffs. He has come alive recently, scoring at least 21 points in each of his last four games.
After seeing him explode for 33 in Game 4, we’re fully bought in, expecting him to replicate that performance tonight to give the Clippers a great chance to win.
