Rockets vs Warriors: 2 Player Props and Best Bet for Monday, April 28

History and vibes say Warriors for this massive Game 4 matchup between the Rockets and Warriors in what has to be one of the best Round 1 matchups of recent history.
With or without Jimmy Butler back at 100%, Golden State now has a fire under their chair after the young Rockets poked the bear. Don’t bet against Steph, Draymond, and Steve Kerr at home during the playoffs – especially in a game as meaningful as this Game 4.

Best Bet: Warriors ML (-174)
Don’t poke the bear. Golden State has leveled up since acquiring Jimmy Butler and from the two full playoff games he has played, playoff Jimmy is so back. The Warriors now have three top tier playoff performers in Butler, Curry, and Green who are backed by a solid rotation of shooters, defenders, and high IQ talent.
The Rockets offense has sputtered at times this season and that has come to haunt them in this series, averaging just below 96 PPG in three games. The record now stands at 24-8 with Jimmy Butler. These Warriors are playing at an extremely high level and in front of the home crowd, I expect Game 4 to swing in their favor.
Curry is 19-9 in Game 4s and against the trash talking Jalen Green and Dillon Brooks, he will guide his squad to a 3-1 lead heading back to Houston.
Brandin Podziemski (GSW) 3+ Three-Pointers (+182)
If the Warriors go up 3-1 in this series, it will be with a big contribution from sophomore guard Brandin Podziemski. Podz is an elite rebounder and 3-point shooter from the guard spot.
The Santa Clara product shoots it 42% from beyond the arc at home and outside of his abysmal Game 2 outing, has played 33 minutes in each of the Warriors two wins while going 4/14 from downtown. After a few rough shooting nights, the potential return of Jimmy combined with Curry’s elite playmaking in the postseason should give Podz some open looks early on which he has the ability to knock down.
We aren’t even a month removed from his three-game stretch of 24.3 PPG on 16/27 from beyond the arc. The return of Podz will gift the Warriors an early lead in The Bay tonight.
Draymond Green (GSW) OVER 19.5 PRA
We are going all-in on Golden State in this pivotal Game 4 matchup. If you are a young team in the NBA without much playoff experience, here’s one rule you should follow. Never bash a multi-champion opponent post-game whose name happens to be Draymond Green.
Green is an energy merchant in the most positive way. He gave Jalen Green some bait and the young star took it. I expect Draymond to come out swinging on both ends of the floor and play his expected 30-35 minutes in this one. The 4-time champion has gone for 13/14/19 PRA in this series.
The only other time he’s gone four straight games missing the 20 PRA mark. How about the first four games in this 2024-25 season. History and vibes say that Draymond has a big night tonight.
