Monday NBA Predictions: 3 Player Props We Love for March 10
24 NBA teams are in action Monday night, including a massive Western Conference matchup between two teams that faced off last night. In the Thunder/Nuggets matchup, expect Aaron Wiggins to shine off the bench.
Elsewhere, Bradley Beal should be a key playmaker in the Suns/Grizzlies matchup, dropping 11 dimes in their previous matchup.
G LaMelo Ball (CHA) OVER 12.5 Rebounds & Assists
The Miami Heat allow the 4th most defensive rebounds per game and the 12th most assists per game. LaMelo Ball and the Charlotte Hornets have played playoff teams tough over the last few weeks, including a one-point loss to Cleveland on Friday and right after the All-Star break, a three-point win against the Lakers.
While Ball played just 23 minutes on Friday, I expect the star guard to play his regular 30-35 minutes tonight against a Miami team that Charlotte has played tough over the last two seasons, although somehow not winning one of their six matchups.
In four games against the Heat dating back to the end of 2023, LaMelo has gone for 17/15/15/17 rebounds & assists. This is the best bet of the night when looking at historical stats.
F Aaron Wiggins (OKC) OVER 1.5 3PM
After a truly odd night where Oklahoma City stormed back behind Shai’s 40-point game on just 2 of 11 shooting from beyond the arc, the Thunder and Nuggets match up again on a back-to-back.
Wiggins is a back-to-back warrior for OKC, playing 13 games at 24.3 MPG in these scenarios while averaging 12.2 PPG on 2.1 3PM (41%). With Denver allowing the most assists per contest and their back-to-back record 11-1 this season, this should be a high-scoring and close contest. Take the over, take Wiggins’ props, and look for a shootout in Oklahoma City tonight.
G Bradley Beal (PHX) OVER 4.5 AST
What to do with these Phoenix Suns. That is the question everyone from Mat Ishbia to the saddest Suns fan have to answer. For the rest of the season though, it will be up to the Durant, Booker, and Beal trio to really dig in on both ends of the floor to somehow piece this lost season back together.
The Suns have not won back-to-back games since January 25th and 27th when their record sat at 24-21. Fast Forward to March and they are 30-34, sitting just outside the Play-In race in the West. They head to Memphis tonight to face a Grizzlies team they are 0-3 against this year with an average margin of defeat of 5 PPG. In Brad Beal’s two games against Memphis, he’s gone for 2 and 11 assists.
In the most recent game (43 minutes played), Beal and Booker combined for 21 assists as the pace of play of both these teams really come alive with the elite scoring on both ends of the floor. Beal has gone for five or more dimes in five of his last nine outings. On the road he averages +1.1 APG and against Western Conference opponents he averages +0.9 APG.
