Jordan Love and the Packers are part of our best bets card for MNF.
At 2-2 on the season, the Packers have been trading wins for losses and if that trend were to continue this week, they would be in line for a win. The Raiders are just 1-3 on the year and are currently on a 3-game losing streak after defeating the lowly Broncos in the season opener.
Check out who we like for this Monday Night Football matchup right here! Good luck with your wagers!
The Pack have split both home and away games with their wins coming over Chicago on the road and New Orleans at home. Their losses were to Atlanta on the road and last week to Detroit at home.
The biggest issue for the Packers has been their lack of a rushing attack. They rank 30th with just 74.5ypg between mainly Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon. Despite that, they are scoring 25ppg which is 10th in the league.
While the offense cannot seem to get the run game together, the defense seemingly cannot stop the run. They rank 30th in yards allowed per game on the ground at 155.3.
There has not been much to be happy about in Vegas on either side of the ball. They are only scoring 15.5ppg which is 25th and allowing 25.3 which is 24th.
And as bad as GB is on the ground, the Raiders are even worse as they rank dead last at 65.3ypg. Crazy to think just a year removed from Josh Jacobs being the league rushing leader that he and the Raiders would be in this position.
The red zone has also been an issue for the Raiders as they are in the bottom tier of the league in scoring and preventing opponents from scoring in the red zone.
This is almost like picking between the better of 2 evils. While neither team has shown life in the run game, Jordan Love has at least shown flashes that he can get the offense going and put up some points on the board.
We are expecting Jacobs to continue to struggle and with Jimmy G still questionable, we will rely on the more stable Green Bay squad here on the road.
Key Trends:
Doubs has scored in 2 of his 4 games which happened to be in their 2 wins.
Raiders have allowed an average of 2 passing touchdowns per game.
The Raiders just allowed Justin Herbert to go over this number and score 2 rushing TDs, they will be aware of the Love looking to run.
Love is averaging 18ypg on the ground but that is inflated from his 39 on 9 carries against NO.
The Raiders have failed to reach this total in all 4 games this season.
The Packers have held 2 of their 4 opponents under this total this season.
