Knicks at Pacers Predictions: 3 Player Props for Game 6 on May 31

Knicks at Pacers Predictions 3 Player Props for Game 6

After an inspiring Game 5 victory back at Madison Square Garden, New York will need to go into Indiana and win Game 6 to keep their NBA Finals hopes alive. While Brunson and Haliburton will remain the talking points of this game and the series, expect the two veteran big men to get the job done from beyond the arc, while T.J. McConnell’s point prop at home is a must-bet.

Myles Turner (IND) OVER 1.5 3 PM

Myles Turner is the longest tenured Indiana Pacer. He was playing around 30 MPG in the playoffs during his rookie season when the Pacers lost in seven games to the Raptors. He was also there last season when Indiana beat New York in MSG in Round 2, hitting two of three from beyond the arc to make a massive impact in the win.

Turner has a clutch gene, and although he had by far the worst game of his postseason last night in Game 5, Carlisle will trust his big man to get back on track in Game 6 at home, where he has made 15 threes in seven games in this miraculous postseason run.

TJ McConnell (IND) OVER 6.5 Points

Another longtime Pacer who didn’t have the best Game 5 nor Game 4, T.J. McConnell, is a solid bet to bounce back off the bench tonight. McConnell has averaged 11.1 PPG at home during this postseason, scoring seven or more points at home in all but two games.

He has that assassin mentality off the bench, and after a few careless turnovers over the last two games, I’ll say the same thing about TJ that I did about Turner. Carlisle will trust the guys that got them to this point, and TJ will play around 20 minutes in this potential series-clinching game.

Karl Anthony Towns (NYK) OVER 1.5 3 PM

KAT has hit just one three-pointer in each of the last two games after hitting 9 of them in the first three games of this ECF series. Towns had some open looks last game from beyond the arc but just couldn’t convert, going 1 of 4.

With attention turning to Brunson off the PnR action, KAT will have these open looks again, and in away games, he tends to knock them down. He shot just above 42% from beyond the arc in away games during the regular season on 1.9 makes per contest. Take the Big Bodega to keep New York in this ball game in the first half from beyond the arc.
