Unless you’re a fan of either of these two teams, you probably scratched your head at the NFL’s decision to make this the Monday Night Football game. Sure, the Eagles have been dominant at times, but seeing how they limped into the playoffs has fans confused as to why they would be rewarded the MNF matchup.
Regardless of how or why this happened, the schedule is set. The Buccaneers will try to upset the Eagles at home, hoping to keep their unpredictable season going. Without further adieu, here are our four favorite player props from this game, all found on Underdog!
A.J. Brown didn’t participate in practice Thursday, jeopardizing his status for this game. While he will do everything he can to try and make an appearance, he doesn’t seem to be at 100%.
Get in on this line early, we project Underdog to bring it down closer to the start of this game. While nothing is certain, the under on Brown’s receiving line is our favorite line of this game.
Brown might be banged up, but Smith should be a go in this one. We’re projecting a big game from skinny Batman, and we wouldn’t be surprised if he scored at least one touchdown in this game. Smith seems to deliver in the big games, and this is the perfect time for him to score his first touchdown in two weeks.
This line seems low. If Mayfield and the Buccaneers find themselves in a negative game script, he will likely have to pass more than normal. Plus, the Eagles’ secondary has been injured all year, giving up a lot of big games in the process.
We project Mayfield to throw for at least 250 in this one, a big reason we’re taking the over, especially in a must-win game.
Feed Big Mike! Mike Evans continues to be one of the best receivers in the NFL, Mayfield’s top target throughout the season. The Bucs need a sure-handed pass-catcher in this game, something Evans can adequately handle when given the opportunity.
We’re expecting Evans to get close to 5 catches by halftime, hopefully cashing his reception prop with ease.
