Best Player Prop Bets for CFB Championship Week

The college football season is officially winding down. At this point, only a few teams can make it into the College Football Playoff, with the rest of the teams on the outside waiting for the 2024 season when the field widens.

With that in mind, only a few games are taking place this weekend, each of them having significant implications for the playoff picture.

We’ve selected three player props from the biggest games of the slate, all of which can be found on Underdog. The biggest players come to play in the best games, and we’re hopeful that we can sweep the board as a result!

Brock Bowers OVER 56.5 Receiving Yards

Brock Bowers has been one of the best players in college football this year. He is among the most dominant tight ends in the country, and his highlight reel is growing rapidly.  We have included Bowers’ lines in nearly every college football parlay we can this year, which has paid massive dividends.

Bowers has achieved 57+ yards in four of his past six games, including three games with over 120 yards. Georgia is taking on Alabama this weekend, desperately trying to keep them out of the CFB.

Bowers should be a massive part of their game plan to make this happen, and we’re predicting that he will hit the over on this line by halftime. Don’t overthink taking the stud tight end this weekend.

Donovan Edwards OVER 40.5 Rushing Yards

When people think about Michigan’s offense, they generally talk about Blake Corum and J.J. McCarthy. We can’t blame them, given Corum’s impact on the rushing game, and McCarthy’s elite play as a passer. However, Donovan Edwards is one player that tends to get lost in the shuffle of these big-name players.

Edwards has been a change-of-pace back for this Michigan team. While he doesn’t have tendencies to put up massive performances like Corum, he is a serviceable backup who helps this team whenever the lead back needs a breather.

We think that Corum might have to save his breath for key downs against Iowa this week, resulting in Donovan getting an increased workload. 40.5 is not a large total for him to overcome, especially if he can break through for a few runs of 8+ yards.

Xavier Worthy OVER 5.5 Receptions

Texas might be ranked No. 7 at the moment, but if something weird happens this weekend, there is a slight chance they could eke into the CFP. If they want to put their best foot forward, they should put the ball into the hands of their best playmaker.

Xavier Worthy has been their alpha receiver throughout the year, and he would like any additional opportunities to improve his draft stock.

This game is a key opportunity for him, and we expect him to be heavily involved in the game plan. Look for Worthy to have a big game on the heels of at least six catches.
