The NFL season is coming down to the wire. With the playoffs starting this weekend, there are only a few more weekends left of the season, meaning we should take advantage of every possible opportunity to watch football.
That said, two fantastic games are taking place on Saturday to kick off Wild Card weekend. The day starts with an intriguing matchup between the Cleveland Browns and Houston Texans, followed by a game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins.
Looking at the board this weekend, we found several great props on Underdog that should make the games more entertaining. With that in mind, let’s look at our favorite props from each team!
Joe Flacco has been a breath of fresh air for the Browns. After losing Deshaun Watson to injury and not finding what they were looking for with their other backups, the Browns signed Flacco, which might have been their best decision of the year.
He has thrown for two-plus touchdowns in every game he has started this year, making the over on 1.5 a smash play for us. We anticipate this game to be a shootout, given Flacco threw for 368 and three touchdowns in his last matchup with the Texans.
Don’t overthink this line, especially for a former Super Bowl MVP.
Nico Collins might be one of the most fun players to watch in the NFL. He has developed a quick connection with C.J. Stroud, making them one of the most dynamic quarterback-receiver duos left in the playoffs.
Collins only had 18 yards in their last game against the Browns, but considering he has eight games this year with more than 74 yards, we’re banking on a bounceback performance in this one.
This line seems too high this weekend, especially since it’s projected to be -30 degrees in Kansas City. Tyreek Hill is making a homecoming to Kansas City, which might scream out as a revenge game.
In normal circumstances, we would take the over on this line, but with the cold in mind, we’re projecting both teams to struggle in the passing game, leading us to lean towards the under.
The analysis of Patrick Mahomes is similar to that of Tyreek Hill. Both quarterbacks should have problems getting anything going in the passing game, leaning heavily on their running backs.
Look for Mahomes to get closer to 200 yards than 250 in this game, hitting the under with ease.
