Top 5 Fantasy Football Sleeper Quarterbacks for 2025-26 NFL Season

The 2025 NFL season is less than 50 days away, and we’re certainly looking forward to the action. The offseason gets long without any football, but we’re getting close to the season starting, which means that fantasy football is right around the corner.

With that in mind, we’re putting a few articles together talking about the best sleepers heading into this year’s drafts. We’re starting with quarterbacks today, a position that can be over or undervalued depending on your league mates.

Unless you’re going after the likes of Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts, or Jayden Daniels, players who will likely be taken in the first four rounds, you can afford to wait on quarterbacks. Let’s go through our favorite players taken at QB12 or later, letting you wait at the position and get better value at RB and WR!

Drake Maye (Current ADP 114.4, QB 14)

Drake Maye could go nuclear in 2025. He showed a lot of promise in the back half of 2024 with a depleted and, frankly, pathetic offensive line, one that’s seen a lot of improvements over the past several months.

Maye possesses a rushing upside that few quarterbacks have, especially in this range, and if he pops as well as people are expecting, the New England Patriots could be a solid team, and Maye could be a great fantasy option this year.

He easily has top 12 upside if Stefon Diggs and his other weapons are healthy and efficient, which is why we’re more than excited to pursue him at a discounted cost.

Jared Goff (Current ADP 117.8, QB 15)

Jared Goff scored the sixth-most points amongst quarterbacks in 2024 and seventh-most in 2023. So why is he the 15th QB off the board in best ball drafts? He’s the picture of consistency at the position, and while he doesn’t have the rushing upside of a Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts, or Josh Allen, he has lots of weapons to support downfield to help his cause.

Goff might not be a “sexy” pick, so to speak, but if you can get him late in your draft, it’s certainly worth taking him, especially if you can pair him with either Jahmyr Gibbs, Amon Ra St. Brown, or Sam LaPorta. Don’t overthink Goff here.

C.J. Stroud (Current ADP 132.7, QB 20)

After finishing as QB11 during his rookie season, C.J. Stroud fell off in a sense in 2024, ending the year as QB18. He only played 15 games in 2024, which certainly tanked his point trajectory, but he was also dealing with injured weapons and a team that didn’t have much going for them in the second half of the season.

We’re expecting a massive bounce-back season from Stroud, especially considering where he’s currently being drafted. Target Stroud later in your drafts, especially if you’re able to get Nico Collins, Christian Kirk, and/or Tank Dell in an earlier round. Stacking wide receivers with quarterbacks is typically fruitful, a strategy we’re looking to employ again this season.

Geno Smith (Current ADP 163.1, QB 26)

We’ll preface this by saying that Geno Smith is a great option to be the QB2 on your fantasy roster but is someone who has an opportunity to find his way into your starting slot if the matchup is right. Smith is paired with a legendary coach in Pete Carroll, which should bode well given Carroll’s track record.

His weapons are worse than they were in Seattle, at least on paper, but the Las Vegas Raiders do have some encouraging players, starting with rookie RB Ashton Jeanty. If Jeanty’s rushing abilities are as good as everyone thinks they are, he should open up a lot in the passing game, allowing Smith time to get the ball off and in the hands of the team’s playmakers. At this cost, which is free, we’re riding with Smith all day.

Aaron Rodgers (Current ADP 183.3.8, QB 28)

Aaron Rodgers is being slept on in fantasy drafts, at least for the moment. Rodgers and Mike Tomlin have wanted to work together for years, and its finally time to see what these two can do together. We know Rodgers’ time with the New York Jets left a bad taste in people’s mouths, but in the right system, he can thrive and look like a four-time MVP again.

Rodgers has effectively zero rushing upside, which hurts his value as a fantasy QB, but he can make up for it with a strong arm. He could ride the bench for you this season if he gets injured or is ineffective, but if he hits, Rodgers could be the league-winner that’s hiding at the end of your draft.
