2025 NFL Fantasy Football Preview: 4 Sleepers for Best Ball Drafts

As NFL Best Ball drafts get underway, let’s take a look at four sleeper picks from each position. At running back, Brian Robinson has been one of the most consistent backs in the league over the last three years, yet he ranks outside the top 25 at his position.

At the tight end spot, we have a rookie sleeper that you can most likely get in any format before it’s too late. Take a look at our top four fantasy football sleepers below. Keep these in mind when your best ball draft rolls around.

QB Michael Penix (ATL): RANK: QB21

Michael Penix only had three weeks to showcase his talents last season for the Atlanta Falcons, who could have potentially made a playoff push if they had named him the starter earlier in the year. Penix had 4 total TDs on 3 INTs during this stretch while throwing for 312 yards in his final regular-season appearance.

Now, the starter, he will be thrown into one of the best situations among any first or second-year Quarterback in one of the easiest divisions in football. Drake London, Darnell Mooney, Ray-Ray McCloud, and Kyle Pitts round out the passing attack while Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier are two great safety nets to have out of the backfield. The floor is extremely high for Penix entering his 2nd year.

RB Brian Robinson (WAS): RANK: RB29

I’m surprised the Commanders’ running back is ranked this low on draft boards. Brian Robinson has totaled 850 yards from scrimmage in each of his first three seasons, scoring 17 total touchdowns over his last two. He is behind a better offensive line and will be the starting running back for a team that will lead opponents in more games than not this season.

Playing 14 games last year, he finished at this exact mark – the RB29 in full PPR. With a handful of more goal-line opportunities and a healthy season, Robinson’s floor is the RB29, and his ceiling is as high as the RB15 in 2025.

WR Dyami Brown (JAX): RANK: WR 76

While there are a handful of rookies that could make this list, including New England’s Kyle Williams and Kansas City’s Jalen Royals, Dyami Brown is a name to keep tabs on. He is currently the WR3 behind BTJ and Travis Hunter in Jacksonville after signing a one-year $10 million deal with the Jags after four seasons in Washington, where he did not put up more than 308 yards in a season.

With that being said, Brown had a great postseason for the Commanders and is an impressive player. If there is a wideout that could have a mid-career outburst, Dyami Brown is that player, with all the defensive attention against the Jags turning to Brian Thomas and Travis Hunter.

TE Oronde Gadsden (LAC): RANK: TE39

Although Gadsden didn’t have the most impressive combine, he is already taking first-team reps with Herbert and the offense. The leading yards leader at the tight end position at Syracuse, everything from OG’s journey has been positive from ‘Cuse coach Fran Brown to Chargers offensive specialists.

A Kyle Pitts-like WR/TE hybrid, the value is there for a player who slides right into a void within the Chargers’ offense. It’s easy to see why we’re so high on Gadsden.
