Saints at Packers Betting Guide: 4 Player Props for Monday Night Football
The 10-4 Packers look to solidify their positioning in the NFC playoff race as they host the 5-9 Saints in a snowy night game in Green Bay. Get our 4 best player props below! Best of luck and Merry Christmas!
TE Juwan Johnson (NO) OVER 2.5 Receptions
The Saints TE1 has started to heat up after their week 12 bye. Johnson has scored once, while catching 11 of 15 targets thrown his way over that three game span.
With Rattler in at quarterback for this snowy Monday night game in Green Bay, expect some early check downs to Juwan, who plays around 70% of snaps and most likely more due to the short yardage plays the Saints will run to open this game.
RB Emanuel Wilson (GB) OVER 0.5 TD
The Green Bay backup running back will get extended run today in the snow. With Matt LeFleur gearing up for the postseason, he won’t force Jordan Love to make plays with his legs in this one.
While Josh Jacobs is projected around 90 yards and 22 attempts, we have seen this story time and time again. As seasons draw to a close, coaching staffs normally give their secondary running backs some more run as they want to preserve the starter for the postseason.
While Jacobs will get his 20 touches, Emaneul Wilson is projected around 7 or 8 touches in my book. He’s averaged around 7 YPC since their bye week mid-season and should get some red zone touches tonight, especially in a blowout scenario.
TE Tucker Kraft (GB) OVER 33.5 Receiving Yards
We are all aboard the Tucker Kraft train on Monday night. Kraft has averaged the most yards per catch this season among all tight ends and wideouts during the regular season.
While the snow might hinder those numbers, Kraft is a top 10 tight end production wise this year and has hit this yard mark in each of his last three outings.
While Tucker Kraft isn’t the flashiest name on this Packers offense, Love trusts in his TE1 and in a snowy game, he could finish with a 4 or 5 catch game.
QB Spencer Rattler (NO) OVER 0.5 Interceptions
While Spencer Rattler has shown flashes as the starter for New Orleans, he is prone to turn the ball over. In his first snow game in the NFL, Green Bay will get after the rookie with ease and with pace, forcing Rattler to either tuck it or run it or make some poor decisions downfield.
In the two full games he played earlier in the season, the rookie had two lost fumbles and two interceptions. Green Bay has forced 14 interceptions and 12 fumbles through 14 games. They are due for a takeaway tonight at home in the freezing cold.
