With the 4-1 Commanders taking on the Ravens and the 3-2 Packers hosting the Cardinals, we’ve selected four players from these two games to hit their “overs” in potential shootouts in both Lambeau and Baltimore.
The Baltimore Ravens have held all of their opposing Quarterbacks in check so far this season on the ground, on average allowing just under 7 rush yards. However, through the air, they have given up the most passing yards per game while allowing over 37 pass attempts per game.
For the Jayden Daniels and Zach Ertz connection, this is great news. Ertz is coming off a game where he commanded eight targets for the Commanders and is 2nd on the team in catches and targets.
Against a Baltimore defense that will try to limit any big plays from Daniels and this offense, Ertz will be the safe short-yardage play for JD who does not turn the ball over.
Sticking with the other tight end in this marquee matchup, Isaiah Likely and the Ravens have a chance to make this game a track meet behind their potent offense.
Likely scored twice last week against Cincy but hasn’t totaled more than 26 yards in a game since his season opener where he went for 111 yards and a score against Kansas City.
As Lamar Jackson’s leading TD scorer and 3rd leading receiver, expect Likely to win some 1v1 matchups with linebackers in this game between two struggling defenses but two offenses on fire.
K1 has gone 4 for 5 this season on this over, with the blowout to Washington as the only game where he rushed under 5 times for under 45 yards.
This Cardinals offense is good enough to beat any team in the league and against an aggressive Green Bay defense, I’m expecting a big run from Kyler that gets the defense on their heels.
Green Bay allows around 20 rush yards per contest to opposing QBs but hasn’t played against a rushing QB for a full game since Week 1’s battle in Brazil when Hurts ran for exactly 33 yards on them. One of the most impressive rushers this season at the position, look to Kyler to deliver once again.
In another matchup that has shootout written all over it, Jayden Reed as the Packers WR1 against this Cardinals secondary is a matchup made in heaven. The Packers’ star wideout has played in 75% of snaps or more for two consecutive weeks while dropping 78 yards or more in both contests.
Reed is an incredible route runner and deep-ball playmaker who will dominate this defense should the 1v1 opportunities be there.
With Jordan Love throwing the football around 35 times at home, expect Reed to finish this week as a WR1 in all fantasy formats.
