NFC North Preview: 4 Season Win Total Bets for 2025

The Lions were the darlings of the division last season and looked to be unbeatable at times. However, in typical Detroit fashion, they came up short when it mattered the most. This division could end up being the best in the NFL, with all teams having rather large win totals.
However, there are only so many wins to go around. Here is how the NFC North finished last season and what we expect out of them this season.
TEAM | OVERALL RECORD | DIVISION RECORD | CONF RECORD |
Detroit | 15-2 | 6-0 | 11-1 |
Minnesota | 14-3 | 4-2 | 9-3 |
Green Bay | 11-6 | 1-5 | 6-6 |
Chicago | 5-12 | 1-5 | 3-9 |
Detroit Lions Over/Under WINS: 10.5
Dan Campbell’s squad was phenomenal all season but still fell short of their goal of getting to and winning a Super Bowl. Their 15-2 record was extraordinary, and we expect this team to get very strong once again this season.
The schedule will not be an easy one, with them facing the NFC East, but they seem to be the most stable franchise in the division going into the season. The offense is filled with young stars and should only get better while the defense gets back a DPOY candidate in Aidan Hutchinson, who has returned from injury.
The pick: OVER 10.5
Minnesota Vikings Over/Under WINS: 9.5
What a rollercoaster season for the Vikings last year. After thinking they would be sputtering offensively when they lost JJ McCarthy in the preseason, Sam Darnold came to the rescue and played phenomenally for the regular season.
After he fell apart in the postseason, the Vikings decided to move on with their future and go back to JJ McCarthy instead of re-signing Darnold. He has not shown many signs of progress through the preseason, and that leaves a lot to worry about in Minnesota. The defense was 13th last year in yards allowed per game and should be around the middle of the road once again this season.
The pick: UNDER 9.5
Chicago Bears Over/Under WINS: UNDER 8.5
The Bears were one of the worst defenses in the league last season, which played a big role in them winning just 5 games last season. Ben Johnson was brought in over the offseason to be the new head coach, but it is all going to come down to how much he can get out of Caleb Williams.
If he can turn Williams into a prolific QB, then this Bears team could make some serious news. That said, we do not expect there to be a huge jump in just their 1st year together. This could be the magic mixture going forward, but it is going to take some time. We will take the under here on Chicago.
The pick: UNDER 8.5
Green Bay Packers Over/Under WINS: 9.5
The Packers were crushed by the injury bug last season. If it were not for that, the Packers may have been a serious contender late in the season. Jordan Love has looked to be consistently growing when not injured.
They brought in Matthew Golden through the draft, which will make Love and the passing game even more dangerous. If Josh Jacobs can duplicate what was a great season on the ground, the Packers may be the best offense in the division. And if their top 5 defense can return to form, watch out, NFC.
The pick: OVER 9.5 and Division Winner +240
