Happy Friday, everyone! Not only is it Friday, which signals the start of the weekend, but it’s day two of March Madness. If today is anything like yesterday, college basketball fans are in for a treat.
We certainly hope you tailed our player props yesterday because we had a clean SWEEP of the board! All of our reads paid off, and we’re excited to share our four favorite Underdog plays with you today as well. We’ve decided to target star players throughout the tournament rather than trying to make a square peg fit into a round hole with some outlier players.
With that in mind, take a peek at our analysis below, and we hope to hit it big with another sweep today. Let’s get into it!
Tristen Newton has been one of our favorite players to bet on all season. He is a highly efficient rebounder and scorer for UConn, and we’re projecting an especially profound rebounding performance out of him against Stetson this afternoon.
We project Stetson to have a tough time shooting against UConn’s defense, giving Newton plenty of opportunities to rack up a lot of boards early in this one. We’re taking the over on seven rebounds this afternoon, hoping he hits this number by halftime.
Eddie Lampkin Jr. is one of my favorite players to watch in college basketball. He’s a beast on the boards, and he isn’t shy about playing bully ball down in in the post to make his way against opposing defenders.
Look for Lampkin to have a big game against Florida tonight, hoping to bring Colorado to a big tournament win!
