3 NFL Player Props for Sunday, November 3: Nix Takes on Baltimore!

Week 9 of the NFL season started with a bang, as the New York Jets and Houston Texans put on an exciting Thursday Night Football game. It was back-and-forth all game, and, somewhat surprisingly, the Jets were victorious. Aaron Rodgers looked like himself (finally), and C.J. Stroud had another pedestrian night.

While we could talk your ear off about Thursday Night Football, we’re here to discuss the Sunday slate of games, particularly, our top player props from the day’s action. Let’s dive into our best picks from Underdog!

Kirk Cousins OVER 249.5 Passing Yards

We’re not quite sure why Underdog has Kirk Cousins’ passing yardage line so low, but we’re certainly okay with it! Cousins has been fantastic for the Atlanta Falcons, a true force of nature for a team that was in desperate need of a fundamentally sound and accurate QB.

The Dallas Cowboys have struggled to contain some quarterbacks this year, and this season is not going well for them on both sides of the ball. With that in mind, we’re confidently taking the over on Cousins’ passing yardage total here.

The Cowboys let Jared Goff, Brock Purdy, and Daniel Jones, of all people, throw for more than 250, and we have full faith in Cousins to be the fourth to reach that mark.

Bo Nix OVER 211.5 Passing Yards

This is another line that looks precarious to us. Not only is Bo Nix playing better every week, but the Baltimore Ravens defense is not what it used to be, especially against opposing quarterbacks.

They’ve allowed seven quarterbacks to throw for more than 212 yards against them this season, and with Nix having confidence in himself and the Broncos, we have little doubt in his ability to be the eighth.

Sam LaPorta OVER 40.5 Receiving Yards

Sam LaPorta was everyone’s favorite tight end last year, especially in fantasy football. He hasn’t quite gotten back to the level of being a dominant player every week, but he has an opportunity to shine this week.

Not only do we think the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers’ game has shootout potential, but the Packers are awful against tight ends, allowing nearly yards per game to the position.

That said, we think LaPorta can easily achieve 41 yards in this matchup, especially since the Packers will likely turn their attention to Amon Ra St. Brown, the team’s leading receiver.
