2 College Football Best Bets and a Player Prop for Week 10: Will Jeanty Keep Crushing?

We are back for week 10, and while there aren’t a ton of heavy hitters, we have some solid matchups and a few that mean a lot to those conferences. Last week, the only “upset,” if you could call it one, was #14 Texas A&M beating #8 LSU. Could we get a couple this weekend?

Ohio State and Penn State are not the only 2 teams playing this weekend. With 15 top 25 games and 2 with head-to-head matchups, we could be in for a treat!

Clemson Starts Fast!

Clemson’s offense is explosive and can score 20 quickly. They have done that in multiple games this year with 1st half points of 17, 28, 23, 17, 45, & 56. Out of 134 teams, Clemson is ranked #1 in 1st half points according to Team Rankings. Clemson averages 26.6 points in the 1st half, 2.1 better than the next team, Boise St.

Over their last 3 games, they averaged 22.7 and in home games, they have averaged 33.8! On the flip side, Louisville ranks 112th out of 134 teams, allowing 18.1 Points. They allowed 20 last week to Boston College who ranks 70th in offensive efficiency, while Clemson sits at 4th in the country.

Team Off Bye vs Flat Spot

Going back to South Carolina who has treated us well so far and are in a pretty good spot here. Texas A&M is coming off that highly emotional win at home against LSU. Now they travel across the country and face a very tough defense, which could lead to a let down spot.

Texas A&M could come out flat, especially on defense after the energy they spent in their previous matchup. SC defense is not like LSUs and has had time to prepare for what AM has. They have seen the explosive running attack and the ability to push the ball down the field.

SC up to this point has been one of the best defenses in the country and usually a team coming off a bye plays a little better on offense as well. The last 2 seasons we have seen this play out. Last season coming off a bye they kept it close with Florida 41-39, and in 2022, they played Texas A&M and won 32-24 at home!

My Best Bets:

Clemson 1st Half Team Total o19.5 (-115) Bet365

South Carolina +3.5 (-120) FanDuel

Bonus Bet: Ashton Jeanty (BSU) First TD (+145) Bet365
