Are you fired up for the Monday Night Football doubleheader on October 21st? If not, we can get you ready! We have 2 best bets on tap to pad your bankroll. Enjoy the games, and best of luck with your action!
Baltimore has looked like the team that many expected coming into the season over their last 4 games. After losses to Kansas City and Las Vegas began their season, they have been averaging 33.5ppg over their last 4. In their latest win, they faced off with the 4-1 Washington Commanders.
After leading 17-10 at the break, they extended things to 27-13 as they headed into the 4th quarter. Washinton attempted a comeback bid but fell short 30-23. Derrick Henry finished with 132 yards on the ground and 2 touchdowns. Zay Flower caught 9 balls for 132 yards to lead all receivers.
Tampa Bay, currently 4-2, is coming off a 51-27 blowout of the New Orleans Saints on the road. Baker Mayfield threw 4 touchdowns while also tossing 3 interceptions and finished with 325 yards. Rookie running back, Sean Tucker, took 14 carries for 136 yards and a score.
He also added 3 receptions for 56 yards and an additional score. Chris Godwin caught 11 balls for 125 yards and 2 touchdowns. As a team, Tampa finished with almost 600 total yards which included 277 yards on the ground.
We should be in for an offensive heavy game here. Both teams rank inside the Top 5 in scoring and 20th or worse in points allowed.
It could come down to which team makes the most of their scoring opportunities and forcing the opposition into field goals over touchdowns.
That said, we do not foresee Tampa being able to contain this potent Baltimore offense. We are going to back the road favorites here and lean on Lamar leading us to a cover.
In a rare treat, we are given 2 Monday Night Football games this evening. While the early game between the Ravens and Buccaneers is more anticipated, this game could end up being more entertaining.
The 3-2 Los Angeles Chargers head into Arizona to take on the 2-4 Cardinals. Marvin Harrison Jr is set to play in this one and will add another dimension to the Cardinals offense. After leaving last game due to injury, Harrison Jr had to watch his Cardinals fall 34-13 to the Packers on the road.
Kyler Murray finished with just 214 yards through the air and the run game was stagnant, finishing with just 89 yards on the ground. They turned the ball over 3 times in the loss and allowed Jordan Love to throw 4 touchdowns.
The Chargers had more success in their latest game. They were looking to avoid a 3-game losing streak after losing to Pittsburgh and Kansas City. Luckily, they used their bye week to prepare for the Broncos. They exploded for a 23-0 lead heading into the 4th quarter.
Denver made it interesting by scoring 16 unanswered points in the final quarter but that was not enough. JK Dobbins ran for 96 yards on 25 carries and scored a touchdown. Defensively, they held the Broncos to just 3 of 11 on 3rd down. The Chargers will look to do the same against the Arizona offense that can have big games.
This Arizona team is capable of being one of the most dangerous offenses in the league. They have weapons all over the place but have been inconsistent all season. Now they face a Chargers team that has been tough on defense.
They are the best in the league in points allowed this season. They are allowing just 13.2ppg to their opponents. We trust that the defense will travel to Arizona and help these Chargers pick up their 4th win of the season.
