We are back for another Monday night doubleheader and I cannot be more excited! Who doesn’t love 2 Monday night football games?
We are also coming off a nice cash of our Jets 1H money line article play, and boy was it a sweat. Great look as well considering the Jets continue to find ways to not score in the 2nd half of games. I have 2 plays below to wet your whistle tonight, let’s cash both!
We knew the Cardinals’ defense was going to be one of the worst this season, but I did expect them to be a little better than where they currently sit. They rank #30 in rush attempts against, 29th in rush yards allowed (150+/game), and #23 in rush yards per carry.
Last week the Chargers got back to who I believe they should be, a run-heavy team first, followed by play-action with Herbert looking to take his shots. When the Chargers stay balanced between the run/pass or focus more on the run, they win.
Just look at the box scores against the Raiders, Panthers, and Broncos. They don’t ask Herbert to do too much, and they emphasize the running game. I love Dobbins o73.5 rushing yards, which we locked in, but has since moved a lot!
Our other look on Dobbins we loved this week was to find the endzone and I think he does just that with the Cardinals allowing 28th most rushing touchdowns per game at 1.3!
Obviously, when we look at the Ravens, King Henry is a player most will target, and we have as well in this game. But I believe there are multiple angles to be played in this Ravens/Bucs matchup that are very good looks.
The Buccaneers have allowed 11 of 15 receivers to go over their line and have also allowed 5 receivers to reach 60+ yards against them! Like most teams I expect them to attempt to stop Henry and Lamar rushing first, leaving passing lanes open.
This Ravens offense is deadly, so teams have to pick their poison and if you stop the run game, the chances pass game slows down are good as well, as successful rushing usually opens up the passing game.
Saying this, I do expect the Bucs to do what they can to not let Henry loose and I do think Lamar finds Flowers as he has in 4 of 6 games this season with 9+ targets, and 3 games with 10+ targets. Flowers has 60+ in 3/6 and has 2 straight 100+ yard games.
My Best Bets:
Zay Flowers (BAL) o59.5 Rec Yds (-120) FLIFF
JK Dobbins (LAC) Anytime TD (-115)
