Happy Thursday, everyone! March Madness is right around the corner, and we’re getting so excited for this year’s NCAA Tournament. There are many fun teams slated to be in the big dance this year, and several teams have yet to punch their ticket.
If you’re anything like us, the month of March represents a great time to catch up on the action and take our last few looks at the potential future stars of the Tournament. Luckily for basketball fans, there are many games on today, which is the perfect opportunity to watch these teams in action!
With that in mind, we have put together our top four player props from Underdog, which can be found below in more detail. Take a peek, and as always, good luck!
Jamison Battle has been one of the best players on the Ohio State roster this season. He averages just shy of 15 points per game and can also contribute in rebounding and assists.
Tonight, Ohio State takes on Iowa, a team they narrowly lost to earlier in the season. We not only like OSU’s chance of taking down the Hawkeyes, but we also believe that Battle will have another big game, scoring more than 15 points against them.
He put up 17 in their last matchup, so he should have no problem putting up similar numbers tonight.
If you’re looking for a fun player to watch and to root for tonight, look no further than Devin Carter. Carter has been a great leader for Providence all season, averaging just over 19 PPG.
He is a phenomenal contributor to this team, which is a big reason why we’re taking his over against Creighton tonight. Plus, he scored 28 points against them earlier in the year, a good sign that he knows how to put up points against a formidable opponent.
We just can’t get on board with Silas Demary Jr.’s point total tonight, which is why we’re taking the under on 9.5 points. He has only scored over ten points in three of his past ten games, indicating that he is an unreliable scorer for the Georgia Bulldogs.
Plus, the last time he played against Florida, he only scored four points in an overtime game, giving us even more rationale to take his under.
If you watched any TCU basketball last year, you would probably remember Eddie Lampkin Jr. He is a massive human who just so happens to be great at basketball, making him a solid contributor for any team he plays for.
Lampkin is now a member of the Colorado Buffaloes, and we love this matchup for him against Utah. He put up 13 points, seven boards, and three assists against them in their prior meeting, which is a stat line that would get us over 23 fantasy points.
We believe in Lampkin tonight. Do you?
