Tampa Bay vs. Kansas City Betting Guide: 4 Player Props for Monday Night Football

The Chiefs look to remain undefeated as they host the banged-up Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The matchup to watch comes at the tight end position with Travis Kelce playing like his vintage self, while up-and-coming star Cade Otton looks to continue his great play.

TE Travis Kelce (KC) OVER 61.5 Receiving Yards

Kelce and the Chiefs attempt to stay undefeated tonight against a Bucs team dealing with plenty of injuries. For Kelce, his season started off on the wrong foot but slowly the connection between him and Mahomes is heating up.

Travis has gone for 70+ yards through the air in three of his last four outings while finally finding the end zone last week against Vegas. With Tampa Bay and Kansas City both bottom three in YPG allowed to the tight end position, expect Kelce to turn in a vintage performance.

RB Bucky Irving (TB) OVER 33.5 Rushing Yards

The hard-running Bucky Irving has a chance to show America what he’s all about on primetime tonight. Irving has been a revelation in this crowded Tampa Bay backfield, averaging 5.2 yards per carry while scoring three touchdowns on the year.

With Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, both knocked out of this matchup, expect the three Tampa running backs to take on more of a role offensively. As for Irving – he will look to secure his seventh 40-yard rushing game in nine outings.

TE Cade Otton (TB) OVER 4.5 Receptions

Without Godwin and Evans, Cade Otton should have a day against the worst defense against tight ends in football. Due to their various schemes that don’t allow many big plays, KC allows the most targets, catches, and yards to the position in the National Football League.

We are targeting Otton’s reception total on Monday Night rather than the up-and-coming star TE scoring a touchdown as the Chiefs have a top-tier red zone defense, especially against the position.

WR Jalen McMillan (TB) UNDER 39.5 Receiving Yards

While Jalen McMillan will be an impactful player long-term for the Bucs, the matchup against Kansas City doesn’t look fantastic. Kansas City has one of the best red zone defenses in football and allows just 108 YPG to wide receivers through the air (the best in the NFL).

With McMillan already dealing with a hamstring issue, expect the three running backs, Sterling Shepard, Cade Otton, and Trey Palmer to be more viable targets compared to the rookie who is just starting to get settled in this offense.
