Brandon Williamson makes our MLB props card for Thursday.
After a perfect 3-0 sweep last night, we’re sitting pretty at 5-0 this week with our MLB props! The nice thing about last night’s plays was that Graham Ashcraft and Alex Cobb were both at nice plus-money prices. Rookie Alec Marsh also went over his K total to give us a remarkable evening.
Let’s stay hot with our favorite MLB prop for Thursday, July 6. Best of luck with all of your picks! Let’s ride!
This Nationals team puts the ball in play better than any other team in the Majors! Heck, Washington leads all of baseball in strikeout rate, which is why we don’t mind playing the Under on a fairly low strikeout number. Williamson is a promising young lefty, but he doesn’t overpower hitters with anything too nasty.
The 25-year-old has only struck out 34 hitters through 43.2 innings of work this season. That comes out to a K-rate of only 18%, which is among the lowest among National League starting pitchers.
As far as the Nats lineup goes, Lane Thomas is the only real strikeout threat at 25.8%. Keibert Ruiz, Luis Garcia, and Dom Smith all have K-rates of 14.8% or less. Let’s ride the Under to the winners’ circle with this early game in our nation’s capital.
