DraftKings Fantasy Lineup for AFC & NFC Title Games: Let’s Play 3 Wideouts With High Ceilings

It all comes down to this. The Championship round of the playoffs, where two teams will punch their ticket to the Super Bowl. Who will represent the AFC and NFC this year?

We’re projecting it’ll be the Kansas City Chiefs and San Franciso 49ers, but anything can happen. We are very excited for both games to kick off, so we’ve been putting together a few lineups for the DraftKings $3 Million Fantasy Football Millionaire Contest.

We are hoping for some big individual performances, which are reflected in this lineup. Take a look at our breakdowns, and see what players line up with what you were thinking. Best of luck!

Quarterback: Lamar Jackson ($7,700)

This lineup is going to be filled with studs and players with the most upside in our eyes, which starts with Lamar Jackson. Yes, he’s the most expensive QB on the slate, but that’s for a good reason.

He has the highest upside of any quarterback this weekend, especially since his rushing floor is astronomical. Jackson rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns last week, giving us confidence he can do the same against the Chiefs this week.

Running Backs: David Montgomery ($5,600) & Christian McCaffrey ($9,000)

The Detroit Lions have a tough time deciding between Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery. Gibbs is typically used as a pass-catcher, and lately, Montgomery has transitioned into their goal line back.

If the Lions find themselves within the five, they’ll likely try to run the ball, hopefully giving Montgomery plenty of touchdown opportunities.

Is there anything more to say about CMC? Christian McCaffrey continues to be the best running back in the NFL, especially in the playoffs.

He torched the Green Bay Packers last week and is a nightmare to defend for any team. He might be the most expensive player on the slate, but in our opinion, he is well worth it.

Wide Receivers: Marquez Valdes-Scantling ($3,400), Josh Reynolds ($4,000), & Zay Flowers ($5,800)

MVS is tough to gauge every week. On one hand, he’s a dynamic receiver who is lightning-fast with the ball in his hands.

However, he has also struggled with drops this year, which has caused some problems. We’re expecting him to get back on track this week, even though this is a risky decision. For the low salary, we’re comfortable taking the risk.

Josh Reynolds is also a boom-bust type player for the Detroit Lions. Jared Goff trusts him in the playoffs, as he has logged seven catches, 107 yards, and a touchdown in the Lions’ two playoff games this year. While he might not have a high floor, the potential for his high ceiling is worth a shot for us this weekend.

Zay Flowers is our third of three risky receivers on the board. We had to configure the roster in this way to fit in our elite players, but believe it’ll pay off in the long run. Flowers has been a fantastic rookie receiver, a reliable option for Jackson in the passing game. We’re hoping that this stack pays off, providing great value to this lineup!

Tight End: Travis Kelce ($6,600)

Playoff Travis Kelce is a different beast. He’s the most expensive tight end on the slate for a reason, and while he has been hurt lately, he looked good against the Buffalo Bills last weekend.

Don’t overthink putting him into your lineup, especially with Taylor Swift in the building.

Flex: George Kittle ($5,300)

George Kittle is a beast. Similar to Kelce, he has come alive in the playoffs, becoming a reliable target for Purdy.

With Deebo Samuel’s status in serious jeopardy, Kittle could become the No. 1 target in the 49ers offense, resulting in a big game.

Defense: Detroit Lions ($2,600)

The Lions are the cheapest defense on the slate, largely because they play the 49ers. There might not be many people to take them in their lineups, which is why we’re zigging when the field is zagging.

Brock Purdy’s decision-making looked questionable against the Packers, who dropped two easy interceptions. If he throws similar balls against the Lions, they might be able to pick them off, giving them some massive point totals.
