Our betting guide is available now and has all you need to know to get to the payout window. Best of luck, folks!
Thursday night has one of the best matchups of the week. The 7-3 Washington Commanders head to Lincoln Financial Field to take on the 7-2 Philadelphia Eagles, with the winner becoming the leader of the NFC East. With both Dallas and New York seemingly out of the picture, it will come down to these 2 teams in the race for the division.
The Commanders are coming off a hard-fought loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers last week. They led 24-14 early in the 2nd half but with just over 2 minutes remaining in the game, Russell Wilson led the Steelers on a drive that ended with him hitting Mike Williams for a 32-yard touchdown that gave them the lead and ultimately the win. Brian Robinson Jr did not play and the run game suffered without him. They were held to just 60 rushing yards
The Eagles, on the other hand, are coming off a dominant victory over the rival Cowboys, 34-6. The win was the 5th win a row, all coming after the bye week for the Eagles. While Dallas was without Dak and had to start Cooper Rush with an appearance from 3rd stringer Trey Lance, the Eagles held them from scoring a touchdown in the win and just 146 total yards.
Jalen Hurts connected on 70% of the passes and the run game was spectacular. 5 different ball carriers combined for 187 yards on the ground in the win. This matchup with Washington begins a tough 6-game stretch for the Eagles. They face this Commanders team twice, 7-3 Baltimore and the 7-2 Steelers during this stretch.
Washington is currently the 3rd highest scoring team in the league at 29ppg. The Steelers were able to barely keep them below their average and snuck out with a win. This is a fantastic bounce back spot for the Commanders!
This Eagles defense is playing better as of late but will have their hands full with Jayden Daniels and company. Brian Robinson Jr should be back for this one as well, which will give the run game a boost. We think Philly wins this one, but in an extremely close game.
