Heck, don’t forget about Florida State vs. Clemson either. That game may not feature two Top 25 teams, but it’ll go a long way toward deciding who has the upper hand in the ACC.

While most folks will be focused on the sides and totals this week, we’re turning our attention to player props. After hours of research and numbers crunching, we’ve found the best player props on the Week 4 board.

Jase McClellan (Alabama) UNDER 60.5 Rushing Yards

It hurts my Bama heart to play this, but it’s where the value is so I’ll roll with it. J-Mac has a great set of skills, but the Crimson Tide offensive line has a ton of issues. There’s a reason why this number has already come down from the original DraftKings opener of 66.5.

Another reason to like this Under is the Ole Miss defense. The Rebels defensive line and linebackers have done a great job of stopping the run so far this season. Ole Miss is only allowing 3.0 yards per rush, which ranks a respectable 31st in the country.

Ole Miss held Tulane, ranked 11th last season in yards per rush, to just 2.5 yards per carry earlier this year. Oh, and it also doesn’t hurt that McClellan has been splitting carries with teammate Roydell Williams at about a 50-50 clip so far this season. Play the Under!

Troy Franklin (Oregon) OVER 80.5 Receiving Yards

There’s a ton of value on this at DraftKings, especially since every other sportsbook in the market has it at 85.5. Franklin is Bo Nix’s favorite target, and with this total sitting at 70.5, the Ducks are sure to have a plethora of possessions. He’s also gone over this yardage total in all 3 of Oregon’s games in 2023.

Colorado’s defense is in for a rude awakening in Eugene this Saturday. The Buffs have surpassed everyone’s expectations with their 3-0 start, but they’ve yet to face an offense as dangerous as the Ducks.

Franklin isn’t some Johnny Come Lately wideout either. He transferred in from Troy, where he has arguably the Trojans most prolific offensive threat. Let’s roll with the Over on Franklin’s receiving yardage.

Keandre Lambert-Smith (Penn St) Under 46.5 Receiving Yards

Lambert-Smith is the best receiver on Penn State’s roster, but he hasn’t faced a defense like Iowa’s this season. The Hawkeyes secondary has been phenomenal against the pass this season, as they rank 7th in yards per pass allowed. They also only allow 179.3 passing yards per game, which is 21st in the nation.

Penn State is clearly a notch above Iowa, which is why the point spread is hovering around 2 touchdowns in favor of the Nittany Lions. If Penn State builds a big lead like the oddsmakers are expecting, they’ll probably be content to pound the rock quite a bit in the 2nd half. That would limit Lambert-Smith’s opportunities.

Lambert-Smith obliterated this total against Delaware and West Virginia, but both of those teams have weak secondaries. Against Illinois, Lambert-Smith only racked up 23 receiving yards. He’ll finish around that number in this one, so take the Under!
