The 4-8 Cincinnati Bengals travel to the 5-7 Dallas Cowboys in what feels like a must-win game for both squads. Expect one of the top offenses in the league and the red-hot Joe Burrow to run Dallas out of their own stadium.
Joe Burrow is looking to keep Cincy’s playoff hopes alive as the Bengals travel into Dallas in a pivotal MNF matchup. Burrow has been one of the top Quarterbacks in the league statistically, but his defense has been losing them game after game.
Against this Cowboys defense that has allowed 30+ points twice since their Week 7 bye, I’m looking for Joe and the Bengals to come out hot, especially after that tough loss last week to Pittsburgh. Burrow has thrown 15 passing touchdowns over his last four games.
Although Jake Ferguson left the Week 11 matchup against Houston early with a concussion, we are looking for the tight end to bounce back in this outing against Cincy, who are bottom five in catches and yards allowed to the tight end position.
In a game where Cincinnati’s incredibly suspect defense will try and key in on CeeDee Lamb with at least two defenders, Ferguson has a chance to break out for a big game this Monday night.
Chase versus the Cowboys defense. I’m picturing Jerry Jones watching in disgust by the end of this game as Ja’Marr and Cincinnati hang at least 30 points in AT&T Stadium.
Chase should easily be able to find the end zone in this one. He only has played one game against Dallas in his career (2022) where he didn’t find the paydirt but looking at the star wideout’s last few games: 3 TD vs Baltimore, 2 TD vs Los Angeles (Chargers), 1 TD vs Pittsburgh.
Chase is on a roll and could creep up to 20 TDs this season with a big game against the struggling Cowboys on MNF.
While Chase Brown is having an outstanding season since filling that RB1 role with the Bengals, we aren’t automatically giving him 100 total yards this week against Dallas.
While Burrow will try to sling the ball all around AT&T Stadium, Chase Brown might have fewer carries and total touches than the last handful of weeks – especially as the Bengals need to change something in order to win these football games.
