Cincinnati was unable to pick up back-to-back wins last week. After getting their 1st win of the season over Carolina the week prior, the Bengals dropped last week’s game to Baltimore 41-38 in a highly entertaining game. Joe Burrow was exceptional, going for almost 400 yards and 5 touchdowns with just 1 interception.
He and Ja’Marr Chase connected 10 times for 193 yards and 2 touchdowns. Tee Higgins got into things as well in the passing game. Higgins finished with 9 grabs for 83 yards and 2 scores of his own. The defense could not handle Lamar Jackson and allowed him to execute 3 good drives at the end of regulation and overtime that allowed the Ravens to win.
The Giants are coming off a good win over the Seattle Seahawks last week. Daniel Jones looked to be at the top of his game in this one. He completed nearly 70% of his passes for over 250 yards and 2 touchdowns while not turning the ball over once.
Rookie running back, Tyrone Tracy Jr, filled in for the injured Devin Singletary and took his 18 carries for 129 yards on the ground. Darius Slayton stepped up with Malik Nabers out and grabbed 8 balls for 122 yards and a touchdown.
The Giants are 11th in the league in points allowed on the season. The Bengals are 2nd to last in the same category. However, the Bengals are 4th in scoring compared to the Giants who are 27th. The total is set for 47 which is on the higher side.
We believe this bodes well for the team that can score at a higher rate, which is the Cincinnati Bengals. We like Burrow and company to handle business here on the road in New York.
