After an outstanding 4-0 sweep last night, we’re back and ready for some more profits! The MLB slate is loaded, and we found some plays that we love.
Here are 4 FanDuel MLB props for Tuesday, April 25. Thanks for reading, and good luck!
Vaughn has been a steady hitter for the ChiSox through the beginning of the season. He is hitting an average of .244, but when we look deeper, we see why we like him to pick up at least one hit here against Jose Berrios.
1st, he is hitting just .133 against lefties, but Berrios is a righty. Also, in his career, Vaughn has tagged Berrios 4 times in his 10 at-bats for a .400 average. Berrios has had 2 recent starts where he allowed just 7 hits through 12 innings, but before that, he allowed 14 hits in just 9.2 innings of work.
Chisholm is in a very similar position as Vaughn here. He has been a bit of a disappointment this season where he is hitting just .207 and has stuck out 34 times compared to his 17 hits.
He has struggled more against lefties and is hitting under .100, but against righties, he is hitting a respectable .246. We believe he will find a way to poke one for a base hit tonight against Morton, who he is 6-17 lifetime.
We are back on the Devers train after riding with him recently. We are getting him here against Kyle Bradish, who is coming off a 6-inning start in which he allowed 5 hits.
These 2 have faced each other 16 times in their careers, and Devers has picked up a hit in 6 of those 16 at-bats for a .375 average. On the season, Devers is also hitting over .300 against righties, just like Bradish.
Urias is facing Corey Kluber tonight, who has given up 19 hits in 18 innings of work. Urias has hit safely in 3 of his last 4 games. In his career, Urias is hitting .411 against Kluber, who has not seemed to have the right stuff at all this season.
Feltner is just 1-2 with a 6.16 ERA but has averaged almost 5 Ks per game. That said, tonight he faces the Indians, who are 3rd in the league and averaging only 7.35 Ks per game as a team.
We could see the Indians jumping on Feltner early, which may get him pulled before he has an opportunity to pick up his 4th K tonight.
Gilbert has reached at least 7 Ks in 3 of his 4 starts this season. The one he fell short against was to Cleveland, who is one of the best teams in the league in avoiding strikeouts.
He is coming off an 8 K night against Milwaukee. Tonight, he faces the Phillies, who are near the very bottom of the league in team strikeouts per game and average more Ks per game at home than on the road. This one is at CBP, so the Ks should be reachable here for Gilbert.
