Over 0.5 Hits Parlays

Kris Bryant & Paul Goldschmidt (+105)

Bryant has picked up a hit in 7 of his last 10 games and has been seeing the ball very well through the beginning part of this season. He is currently hitting .300, which is 2nd on the team behind Elias Diaz’s .343. He faces Mitch Keller of the Pirates tonight and has a career batting average of .625 against him. We like Bryant to get at least 1 hit here.

Goldy’s .321 average is leading the Cardinals on the season. He is coming off his best performance of the season yesterday. He went 4-5 and hit 3 home runs against the Tigers. He has hit 9-19 over his last 4 games, and 6 of those hits were extra-base hits.

Marcus Stroman is being tasked today with keeping Goldy in check, but he has not had much success over his career. Stroman has been lit up by Goldy in the past for a .444 average.

We expect his success at the dish to continue in this one. A sprinkle on 2+ total bases and/or a home run may be worth the value here.

Kyle Tucker & Nathaniel Lowe (+105)

No one on the Astros is currently hitting over .300. However, Tucker is the closest with a .280 average. He is currently on a 3-game hit streak. He is facing a lefty today, and he has gone 11-38 against them this season for nearly a .300 average.

Patrick Sandoval is the lefty he will be facing, and Tucker has hit him well in the past. In 11 at-bats, Tucker has hit safely 5 times for an average of .455.

Nathaniel Lowe has had 18 at-bats versus Logan Gilbert. Gilbert is who Lowe faces tonight, and Lowe is hitting .444 against him with 8 hits.

Lowe is also on a 6-game hit streak. Gilbert is a righty, and that is great news for us Lowe backers. Lowe is hitting just .200 against lefties but .289 against righties.

Stolen Bases Prop

Tommy Edman OVER 0.5 Steals (+300)

Edman is 2nd on the Cardinals in steals on the season with 3. While that number is not eye-popping, it is something to consider in a matchup like he has tonight.

He is facing Marcus Stroman, who he has hit .429 lifetime against. Stroman is 6th worst in the National League, with 6 steals allowed over his 7 starts this season. If Edman can get on, we believe he could take advantage of Stroman’s weakness here.

Home Run Prop

Anthony Rizzo OVER 0.5 HRs (+400)

Rizzo is tied for the team lead with Aaron Judge with 6 home runs on the season. He hit his 6th in yesterday’s game and showed the power he has been known for over his career.

Rizzo is a left-handed batter who loves to take advantage of the short porch in right field. Tonight, the weather report is favorable for left-handed hitters as 8-10mph winds are projected to be blowing out to right field. If Rizzo can get solid contact on one tonight, the wind should help push it over the short fence in right.
