3 PrizePicks NFL Props for Week 18 Sunday Slate

Another NFL regular season has almost come and gone. After a couple of Saturday games to whet the appetite, we get 14 games on Sunday to try to make money on. A few of the games will have major playoff implications, so lots of teams will be doing some scoreboard-watching.

Let’s finish the season on a high note with 3 PrizePicks props for the Week 18 Sunday slate of games. Best of luck with all your NFL action, and thanks for riding along with us this season!

Kenny Pickett OVER 190.5 Passing Yards

This number on Pickett is just plain wrong! The former Pitt Panther is looking more and more comfortable of late. He’s gone over this amount of passing yards in 6 of his last 8 games (we’re ignoring the game against Baltimore, where he only threw 1 pass).

The Steelers are playing some good ball of late, and we expect a max effort from them against the Browns. Cleveland has been eliminated from playoff contention, while Pittsburgh still has a small chance of getting in. Mike Tomlin is bound and determined not to post a losing season.

Cleveland’s secondary is pretty stout, but you have to wonder whether or not they’ll be truly focused for this game. Even with All-World DE Myles Garrett, the Browns still only rank 20th in sack rate. That means Pickett should have plenty of time to throw and rack up over 200 yards passing.

Amari Cooper OVER 57.5 Receiving Yards

Cooper is starting to develop some chemistry with new QB Deshaun Watson. The former Alabama standout caught 2 touchdowns last week against Washington, and we think he’ll give this Pittsburgh secondary all kinds of problems. He’s averaging 69.3 receiving yards per game this season, which is well over this posted total at PrizePicks.

The 6-1, 210-pound wideout is also in good current form. He’s exceeded this yardage total in 3 straight games. For the season, Cooper has gone over this total in 10 of 16 games.

The Steelers’ secondary is a complete mess. They rank 27th in yards per pass allowed (7.0) and 20th in passing yards allowed per game (225.4). Cooper should have an easy time going over this number.

Joe Mixon UNDER 52.5 Rushing Yards

Mixon is a talented back, but his production has been kind of down this season. The former Oklahoma Sooner has only scored 6 rushing touchdowns this season, which is less than half of what he scored last season. He’s also only run for 787 yards.

This is a tough matchup for Mixon against a very stingy Ravens rush defense. Baltimore’s defense ranks 3rd in yards per rush allowed (3.9) and rushing yards per game allowed (94.4). Cincy’s offense, on the other hand, only ranks 29th and 26th in those categories, respectively.

We also wonder how many carries Mixon will get in this game. If the Bengals build any kind of big lead, you’d have to think they put Samaje Perine in to rest Mixon. We’ll take a shot with the Under!
