Joe Ryan makes our PrizePicks MLB card for Wednesday.
We’re fresh off a nice 3-0 sweep with last night’s MLB props and hungry for more! Andrew Abbott, Pablo Lopez, and George Kirby all went over their strikeout props, and it felt great to sweep the board.
Let’s stay hot with 3 PrizePicks MLB props for Wednesday, July 26. Good luck, and as always, play responsibly.
This is our favorite MLB prop on the board for Wednesday. Ryan has excellent stuff, and his splitter is almost unhittable when it’s working. The right-hander’s K-rate is sitting at 29.4% this year, which puts him in the 86th percentile in MLB.
This Seattle lineup strikes out a ton against righties. Guys like Teoscar Hernandez and Eugenio Suarez have K-rates of 31.5% and 28.4%, which means that both are more than capable of striking out multiple times against Ryan.
Ryan has gone over this strikeout total in 3 of his last 5 outings. He should keep this Seattle lineup guessing for most of this game. Take the Over.
Miller has been fantastic for Seattle as a rookie starter. He isn’t a big-time strikeout guy, but he’s still fanned 64 hitters in 69.1 innings of work. Miller has a 95 MPH fastball that spins quite a bit, which could frustrate this Twins lineup.
Speaking of this Twins lineup, they struggle to put the ball in play against right-handed pitchers. Minnesota has the worst K-rate in baseball against RHP, so Miller has a pretty good chance of going over this total.
As far as current form goes, Miller checks that box as well. He’s gone over this K total in 4 of his last 6 starts. The Twins have never seen Miller before, so that should work in our favor as well.
This one is kind of tough to put on the card because Heaney just struck out 8 Houston hitters back on July 2nd. That being said, he faced the ‘Stros earlier in the year and only struck out 4. He’s stayed under this total in 3 of his last 5.
What else do we like about this play? Houston has the lowest strikeout rate in the majors against left-handed pitchers. Heaney’s K-rate of 24% ranks right around average, but this Astros lineup simply knows how to put the ball in play.
Houston has 4 everyday players with a K-rate of 19.3% or less. Alex Bregman and Kyle Tucker only strike out at rates of 12.% and 13.2%, respectively. Let’s hold our breath and take the Under!
