Athan Kaliakmanis OVER 179.5 Passing Yards

It’s difficult to get a solid read on Athan Kaliakmanis. He was mostly utilized as a backup to Tanner Morgan at the University of Minnesota last year and wasn’t given many opportunities with the first-team offense.

Kaliakmanis had over 20 passing attempts in just two games last year, throwing for 175 yards and 319 yards, respectively. He faces a Nebraska defense tonight that allowed over 28 points per game in 2022, a great opportunity to show the University he has what it takes to be their starter.

We like his odds of throwing for at least 200 yards tonight, smashing his over/under total of 179.5 yards.

Porter Rooks OVER 30.5 Receiving Yards

Porter Rooks and the NC State Wolfpack are taking on UConn tonight in what should be an… Interesting battle. UConn’s defense allowed 28.2 points per game last season, an indication that Rooks could be in line for a big night.

However, in eight games last season, Rooks only had more than 31 yards on one occasion, which happened to take place against UConn.

As he and new QB Brennan Armstrong continue their connection, look for Rooks’ dominance against UConn to keep going tonight, resulting in at least 31 receiving yards.

Darren Grainger OVER 189.5 Passing Yards

Darren Grainger finished the 2022-2023 collegiate season with a 303-yard passing performance against Marshall. His final five starts yielded at least 190 passing yards, which included two performances with 300+ yards.

He will take on Rhode Island tonight, who isn’t exactly known to be a football powerhouse. We projected Grainger for 222.5 yards tonight, so we’re hammering his over in what should be a blowout performance for Georgia State.
