3 MLB Player Props for Tuesday, July 25

After a nice 2-1 night with our baseball props, we’re hungry for more wins! Luis Castillo and Kenta Maeda easily eclipsed their strikeout number, and that was fun to watch. Jon Gray kept us from a perfect sweep, but overall it was a good evening.

Ready to make some hay on a Tuesday? Here are 3 MLB player props for July 25. Good luck with all of your bets today!

George Kirby Over 5.5 Strikeouts -140 (BetMGM)

Kirby isn’t a big-time power pitcher, but he just struck out 10 against this same Minnesota team last week. With as much as this Twins team strikes out, there’s no reason to think he can’t rack up at least 6 Ks in tonight’s game. My line says this game should be at 6.5 instead of 5.5.

Minnesota strikes out 27.1% of the time, which is the worst K-rate in all of baseball. Kirby has a K-rate of 37.9% against the Twins, which is pretty insane when you think about it. Let’s roll with the Over.

Pablo Lopez Over 7.5 Strikeouts -105 (PointsBet)

Lopez only struck out 7 Seattle hitters in his start against them last week. However, the powerful righty has one of the highest K-rates in baseball at 30.2%! Lopez has a devastating 4-seamer and a nasty changeup that will terrorize this M’s lineup.

Speaking of the Seattle lineup, they have 4 hitters with K-rates above 25%. What’s even crazier is that some of their part-time players (Mike Ford, Taylor Trammell, and Dylan Moore) have K-rates above 33%! Lopez has gone over this total in 4 of his last 7 starts.

Andrew Abbott OVER 5.5 Strikeouts -152 (FanDuel)

We normally don’t like laying over -150 for player props, but Abbott is worth an exception to the rule. The rookie lefty has been a huge lift to this Reds team. He struck out 6 Brewers back on July 7th, and we think he gets at least that many tonight in Milwaukee.

Abbott has gone over this total in 4 of his last 5 starts and 6 of 9 overall. The Brewers’ K-rate vs lefties is the worst in baseball at 26.7%! Look for Abbott to get that curveball working and for this one to sail over the total.
