3 FanDuel MLB Props Parlays for Thursday, April 20

Today’s baseball slate gives us only 7 games. However, we’ve still found some value, even with the smaller card. Today, we’re attacking the hits and strikeouts markets.

Here are 3 FanDuel MLB Parlays for Thursday, April 20, from FanDuel Sportsbook. Best of luck with all of your picks. Enjoy the games!

Over 0.5 Hits Parlays

Eduardo Escobar & Ke’Bryan Hayes (-110)

Escobar has been off to a sorry start to the season. He is hitting just .120 after going 6-50 from the dish. That said, he had picked up hits in 2 of his previous 3 games and seems to be seeing the ball a bit better. Combine that with the fact that he is 4-9 lifetime against Sean Manaea, and he provides some value here. Manaea only lasted 3 1/3 in his last outing against the Detroit Tigers. He allowed 2 earned runs on 4 hits.

Ke’Bryan Hayes is in the midst of a 6-game hit streak and has picked up 2 hits in 3 of those games. Tonight, he faces Luke Weaver, who will be making his 2023 debut.  He finished last season with a 1.78 WHIP and a 7.71 ERA. We believe the rolling Pirates and Hayes will get to him early and make this a short outing for him.

Elias Diaz & Brandon Nimmo (-105)

Elias has been on fire to start his 2023-2024 season, as he is currently hitting .345. On Sunday, he had his 9-game hit streak snapped as he went just 0-1. He followed that with an 0-4 appearance but picked up 2 hits last night against the Pirates. He is 1-3 against Strahm lifetime, and the .432 he is hitting over the last 2 weeks gives us confidence he picks one up here.

Like Diaz, Nimmo has been hot over the past 2 weeks. He is hitting .405 during that span, going 17-42 from the plate. He is coming off what may have been his best performance of the season last night. He was 5-5 with a homer against the Dodgers. He faces Sean Manaea, whose struggles were documented in the Escobar play above.

Alternate Ks Parlay

Matt Strahm 4+

Kodai Senga 5+

Jameson Taillon 4+ (+100)

Strahm has exceeded 4 Ks in each of his last 2 starts, despite only pitching a total of 7.2 innings. He is home against Colorado tonight, who are averaging nearly 10 Ks per game on the road.

Kodai Senga is averaging 7 Ks per game over his 3 starts this season. He is facing a plate-disciplined Giants team, but 2 below his average should be a very real possibility.

Taillon is facing a Dodgers team that he just faced in his last start on Sunday. There, he went 5 innings and sat down 7 Dodger hitters. He will need just over half of that total here in the rematch to help us cash this even-money parlay.
