However, he has finished 58th here in 2021 and 24th last year. Rai should be able to be in contention once again this weekend and outlast Thompson.
Australian, Cam Davis, is one of the better long-ball hitters off the tee on Tour. He had used that ability to win this event back in 2021.
Since then, he added a 17th and 14th place finish in the following 2 years. Van Rooyen missed the cut in his latest start at the US Open and has failed to make the cut here in both of his career starts.
We believe he will be heading home on Friday while Davis will be playing through the weekend.
We like this flyer here on almost 2.5 to 1 odds on Yuan. While his season has been rocky, he does have 2 Top 10 finishes. He also played well in his debut at the RMC last year, finishing 14th.
Spaun has participated in the RMC for 5 straight years and has finished inside the Top 40 in all 5 starts. Most recently, he finished 26th at the Myrtle Beach Classic but did miss the cut in the next 2 events.
In 2 of his last 4 starts, Merritt has picked up Top 40 finishes. In his last 4 starts here at the RMC, he has finished no worse than 17th.
While we love getting him at plus money here, we will likely be taking him at even better odds for a Top 30 and may sprinkle a little on him to get another Top 20 here.
Vince Whaley has gone back-to-back RMCs with a Top 40 finish. On top of that, he finished 33rd in his last start this season which came at the RBC Canadian Open.
What has Taylor Moore done in his career at the RMC? Just back-to-back Top 10 finishes. He was 6th in 2022 and then bettered himself with a 4th-place finish last year.
He was 12th at the PGA Champ but has struggled since in his next 4 starts. We like him to find his groove here once again.
