2 Player Props and a Best Bet for Cowboys at Giants: Will CeeDee Hit Pay Dirt?

With another Thursday Night Football game lined up for this evening, I have targeted a few plays I love. The Cowboys are coming off two brutal defensive performances.

If they want to get back to establishing themselves as front runners, their defense simply must step up tonight. With the Giants’ secondary banged up, and down two cornerbacks, they could be in for a long night!

CeeDee Will Exploit This Secondary

CeeDee has pretty much owned the Giants’ secondary in terms of yardage over the last 6 games, averaging 92.5 receiving yards on 6.5 receptions. The Giants are without both cornerbacks Adoree Jackson and Dru Phillips, and I truly believe that will be too much to slow down Lamb and the Cowboys’ offense.

Lamb has scored in 1 of 3 games to start this season and has scored just one time in the last 3 games at MetLife Stadium. However, I believe that he will find the endzone tonight.

He came out and gave an interview on his recent performance and I see him stepping up in a big way tonight. He has a chance to go for 100+ yards tonight, Dak has a very real chance at 2 pass touchdowns and I’ll bet he finds Lamb for one of those!

Nabers is a Playmaker!

With the way the Cowboys defense has played the last two games, I have a sense they are going to come out and put the pressure on Jones. Giants know this and have been working to establish their running game over the last few games with Singletary averaging over 15 rushing attempts.

With the Giants working their run game in and the Cowboys defense expecting to step up I think there’s a different angle we can take on Nabers. Nabers is averaging over 10 yards per target depth, ranked 3rd in yards after catch, 1st in air yards of 384 and 1st in deep targets with 8 through 3 games.

Nabers has the ability to catch a quick pass and get his yards, or dominate a route, find separation and clear this 23.5 line. The Cowboys allowed 1 Brown, 3 Saints, and 2 Ravens pass catchers to go over this line and I worry Giants offense may struggle enough where he may not reach his receiving yards line tonight.

Cowboys Have Owned Giants During Dak’s Tenure

Cowboys are 12-2 against the Giants in Dak’s career and after their last two performances, the Giants could be in trouble. The Cowboys have also covered this line in 6 straight games vs Giants. Sure, this is a play we could leave on the board as the Cowboys defense currently has question marks, but I think they can make enough plays on both sides of the ball to win by 6 or more tonight.

My Best Bets:

  • CeeDee Lamb (Dal) Anytime TD (-110) Fliff
  • Malik Nabers (NYG) o23.5 Long Rec (-113) Caesars
  • Cowboys -5 (-114) Bet365
