Best Player Prop Bets for CFB Week 2

Week 2 of the NCAA Football Season is rapidly approaching. There are a lot of games on the slate, almost too many for us to choose from when evaluating player props.

However, we’ve narrowed our list down to three players, and we’ll talk a bit about their chances of going over or under their respective lines.

Let’s take a deeper look into our three favorite NCAA props from this week, which can all be found on PrizePicks.

Shedeur Sanders OVER 315.5 Passing Yards

Fewer NCAA programs have taken the world by storm than the Colorado Buffalo. Deon Sanders’ coaching methods and recruiting strategies have clearly paid off, as the Buffalo knocked off the mighty TCU squad.

Shedeur Sanders was a massive part of their success, throwing for 510 yards and four touchdowns. While we’re not projecting as massive of a game, we do believe he’s on a positive trajectory, especially against Nebraska.

Sanders and Colorado seem like a team that is destined for another massive game, which is why we’re taking the over on his passing yardage total.

Travis Hunter OVER 73.5 Receiving Yards

That’s right, we’re taking two players from Colorado. How could we not? Sanders and Travis Hunter are the hottest commodities since sliced bread.

Hunter broke the internet over the weekend after his masterful two-way performance. He can get it done on offense and defense, illustrated by his 11-catch, 119-yard performance.

We’re projecting the Sanders-Hunter duo to provide another Batman and Robin-esque performance this week. Hunter stole the hearts of America, and he’s going to want to deliver another stunning stat line. Take the over on Hunter’s receiving yards this week, if for nothing else than the storyline.

Darren Grainger OVER 59.5 Rushing Yards

60 yards might seem like a lot for a quarterback. However, in Georgia State’s first game, Grainger rushed for 51 yards on 12 attempts, averaging 4.3 yards per carry.

This is certainly encouraging when looking at his rushing prop this week, especially as Grainger heads into a matchup with UConn. The Huskies allowed 177.3 rushing yards per game last season, and they haven’t exactly done a lot to improve upon their roster this year.

We’re expecting Grainger to have his way with this defense, smashing the over on 59.5 rushing yards.
